General cleaning of the treatment room: features and algorithm of the procedure

In medicine, the health of patients depends on the level of cleanliness of the cabinets, corridors and other facilities. Therefore, it is not surprising that in medical institutions it is necessary to maintain order, guided by existing standards and regulatory documents. Today we will consider the types of sanitization, as well as the algorithm of general cleaning of the treatment room.

Existing types of ordering in the treatment rooms

In the treatment rooms are four types of cleaning :

  1. Preliminary: daily ordering, carried out before work begins. Includes wet cleaning of all surfaces.
  2. Current: putting in order to remove contaminants, is carried out at least twice a day.
  3. Final: putting things in order at the end of the day. Procedures similar to the preliminary ones are being carried out.
  4. General cleaning of the treatment room: conducted once every seven to ten days.

Features of the general ordering of the order

General cleaning of the treatment room (SanPiN 2.1.3.2630-10) is carried out according to the schedule, which is the senior nurse, and the head of the department asserts. Usually the periodicity of ordering is 7-10 days.

General cleaning of the treatment room is:

  • Thorough disinfection;
  • Performance of work in protective uniform;
  • Use of sterile napkins and overalls, as well as washing and disinfecting substances approved earlier.

Harvesting log

Each completed general cleaning of the treatment room is recorded in the appropriate journal. It consists of a table in which:
