"De-Nol" and alcohol: compatibility, instructions for use, feedback

"De-Nol" - a popular drug, which is used to treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including peptic ulcer diseases of the stomach and duodenum.

To be cured, the medicine must be drunk for a long time. Therefore, many patients are interested in the question: is it possible to simultaneously accept "De-Nol" and alcohol? The compatibility of the first and second, the possible consequences, as well as the effectiveness of treatment with this drug, we will try to disassemble in our article.

How De Nol acts

For many years, "De-Nol" is considered one of the most effective medicines for fighting stomach diseases. Since this drug is imported (the producing country is the Netherlands), accordingly, its cost is far from being budgeted. For this reason, many patients are trying to replace it with more affordable domestic counterparts. However, in this case, not always possible to achieve the desired effect, because the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, which is the cause of gastritis, gastroduodenitis and peptic ulcer, sufficiently resistant to therapy.

Tablets "De-Nol", the price of which is relatively affordable, have a good anti-inflammatory, enveloping, antibacterial and healing effect. When ingested on the mucous membrane of the affected organs a special film is formed, which ensures their protection from the harmful effects of gastric juice. Along with this, the drug kills various pathogens and prevents their appearance.

Cure ulcer and erosion helps the main active substance of the "De-nola" - bismuth. This heavy metal is actively used in medicine. When interacting with the protein, it has a pronounced astringent and anti-inflammatory effect.

As a rule, the treatment of ulcers and erosions affecting the digestive system is carried out in conjunction with dietary nutrition. Such drinks as juices, milk and coffee reduce the therapeutic effect of tablets. Therefore, drink them only with clean water.

When should I use

"De-Nol" instructions for use (reviews confirm the high effectiveness of the drug) recommends the use in such cases:

  • Disorders in the digestive system, accompanied by heaviness in the stomach, swelling, rumbling, increased gas production, general weakness and decreased appetite;
  • A peptic ulcer, including the Zolinger-Ellison syndrome;
  • Acute and chronic form of gastritis and gastroduodenitis;
  • Irritable bowel syndrome.

Who is contraindicated?

Tablets "De-Nol" is strictly forbidden to take during pregnancy, as this can lead to genetic mutations and malformations of the fetus. The prohibition is also the period of lactation. Also, the reception is not recommended when allergic reactions to the components of the drug appear, as well as severe kidney disorders.

Side effects

Basically, De-Nol tablets are well tolerated by patients. When treating this drug, the most common side effects are skin itching, skin rashes, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea. All these phenomena, as a rule, are not very pronounced and soon pass.

Often, against the background of taking tablets, feces can be painted black. There may also be a darkening of the tongue.

Increased doses of the drug can sometimes lead to decreased attention and memory, impaired renal function.

How to apply "De-Nol"

How to drink pills, the doctor in charge should tell after preliminary consultation and the spent inspection. Self-medication is not always safe. The instructions for use indicate that the number and frequency of the drug depends on the age category and body weight of the patient.

Thus, for children aged 4-8 years, the recommended dose is 8 mg per 1 kg of body weight. The daily dose is divided into 2 doses.

Children from 8 to 12 years should drink 1 tablet twice a day.

Adults and children over 12 years of age, the dosage is 1 tablet 3-4 times a day, you can drink and 2 tablets 2 times a day.

It should be noted that the medicine should be taken 30 minutes before the start of the meal, drinking a glass of water. Treatment is carried out by the course, the duration of which is 5-8 weeks.

De-Nol and alcohol: compatibility

As you know, frequent and unreasonable consumption of alcohol causes severe health damage. Because of intoxication the whole body suffers, chronic diseases become worse, many new ones appear. Therefore, the question of whether it is permissible to drink alcohol in the treatment of "De-Nol", can occur in alcohol-dependent or completely irresponsible people.

Alcoholic drinks irritate the gastric mucosa, undermine the body's work with toxic poisons, as a result of which nutrients and vitamins from food are poorly digested. This causes beriberi and general weakness of the body. It is not surprising that, in addition to cirrhosis of the liver, people who drink people often have stomach ulcers and pancreatitis.

If you look through the official instructions, there is no information on the prohibition of the joint reception of "De Nol" and alcohol. However, it should be noted that the composition contains bismuth, which, although it has a therapeutic effect, but at the same time is a chemical substance. If the liver is healthy, proper treatment will not harm the body. But with the simultaneous intake of tablets and alcohol-containing drinks, especially in large doses, the liver will suffer double. Therefore, "De-Nol" and alcohol, the compatibility of which is bad, should not be taken together.

Possible consequences

What happens if you combine De Nol and alcohol? The compatibility of these two things should not be questioned. Of course, the joint use of antiulcer and alcohol will only exacerbate the patient's condition, as this can cause:

  • Weakening the effect of the drug;
  • Complication of the current disease;
  • dizziness;
  • Nervous disorders;
  • Liver disease;
  • Adverse reactions from taking the drug.

The cost of "De Nol" tablets

The price of the drug, as noted earlier, is not the lowest, but relatively affordable. So, for a package of 56 tablets, you will have to pay at least 500 rubles. One such package is sufficient for a two-week course of treatment. Therefore, it will be a little more profitable if you buy a package of 112 tablets. Its average cost in pharmacies is 950 rubles.

Reviews about the drug

In patients, "De-Nol" positively proved itself as a highly effective drug for the treatment of gastritis, gastroduodenitis and peptic ulcer. It is safely tolerated by patients and has a minimum of side effects, and those, as a rule, are temporary.

"De-Nol" perfectly "works" as a part of complex treatment, enhancing its effectiveness. After the treatment course, the stomach's protective factors are restored, ulcers are healed, and the frequency of relapses decreases.

Nevertheless, some patients leave negative reviews, referring to the fact that the drug does not help. In most cases this is due to the fact that it is necessary to treat an ulcer in combination with other drugs, at least together with antibiotics. Only in this way is it possible to achieve complete recovery.
