As we have already said, dessert was invented by culinary experts from England. Translated from English, the word means "sprinkle" or "crumble". Cake crumble with oatmeal flakes - featuring a find for those who want to get a tasty filling and crispy crust.

Initially, the pie was prepared exclusively with apples. Then came a lot of other varieties: pear crumb with oat flakes, peach and berry, pie with dried fruits, chocolate and coconut filling. There are many options, but today we offer you to prepare a classic apple variant.

For preparation it is required

  • Oat flakes are one glass, or 250 grams.
  • A kilogram of peeled apples.
  • One egg.
  • Half a glass of milk.
  • 180 grams of butter (in the budget variant instead of butter you can use margarine).
  • One glass of flour.
  • Sugar sand - 250 grams.
  • 50 grams of any nuts (cashew, peanuts, almonds, walnuts).
  • One teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Cooking process

Crumble with oat flakes can be cooked using any kind of apples. If you like sour taste in desserts, then take green sour apples. If you want sweets, then choose your sweet red apples.
