Chinese copies of cars. Chinese-made cars

There are many cars from China, in the image of which there are obvious similarities with models of famous brands. Plagiarism of certain features can be understood, because the manufacturers of the Celestial Empire want to make their vehicles more attractive using recognizable parts belonging to premium cars. And there are Chinese copies of cars at all - cars that are practically analogous to famous models in all respects. I would like to tell you about such cars a little more.

JAC A60

If you look at this car and do not pay attention to the logo, you might think that this is the latest generation Audi A6. In length, the Chinese business sedan reaches 5,005 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,503 mm, so that all the standards of the premium class are met.

The interior, like the exterior, was copied from a German car. However, there are several original accents. This is a 4-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and an analog clock.

Standard equipment is very rich. The Chinese "Audi" is equipped with all necessary - front airbags, a full electric bag and anchorages for children's seats, parktronics and a multimedia complex with an 8-inch display.

On power, of course, the Chinese Audi copy is much inferior to the original. The JAC A60 is offered with a 1.5-liter 174-horsepower engine and a 6-band robot. The consumption of the passport is 8.8 liters of gasoline in a mixed cycle. The price of this car in its homeland starts from 139 500 yuan (1 155 000 rubles).

BMW X1 analogues

This premium Bavarian crossover is popular with many. Enumerating the Chinese copies of cars, it is impossible not to mention the "brothers" of the BMW X1. And there are three of them.

The first copy is called Zinoro 60h. It's a hybrid of BMW and Brilliance. Externally from the original it is distinguished by the emblem and the absence of a proprietary double radiator grille. Equipped with a model 136-strong petrol turbo engine and an electric motor for 15 liters. from. On this draft, the car can travel 60 km. By the way, the model has good dynamics. Up to 100 km / h it accelerates in just 7.6 seconds. And the price of a car in China starts from 90,000 yuan (745,000 rubles).

Another copy is also produced by Brilliance. This is the Zinoro 1E, equipped with a 170-horsepower electronic unit. Only this car is sold only in the Chinese market, and the dynamics is not different. It can accelerate only up to 130 km / h.

The third copy of the Bavarian crossover is called Brilliance V5. This car is offered only with a 1.6-liter 110-horsepower engine. Dynamic indicators are mediocre. The speed limit of the crossover is 170 km / h, and up to "hundreds" it accelerates in almost 14 seconds.

Minivan from China

A little attention should be paid to the M-segment, telling about Chinese copies of cars. Lifan Xuanlang is an analogue of the American practical minivan Ford S-Max.

The basis of this model is the "Lifan 820" sedan platform with fully independent suspension, electric power steering and disc brakes. So far, the minivan is offered only with a 1.8-liter 133-horsepower engine, which can be controlled by a 5-speed "mechanics" or "automatic".

The car has good equipment. The basic equipment includes a multimedia system with a color display, 7 leather seats, climate control, panoramic roof with a hatch, parktronics, a rear-view camera, a full electric package, heating functions and much more. It is assumed that the functional Chinese crossover will cost in China ~ 110,000 yuan (910,000 rubles).

BAIC Qishi

The American mid-size SUV Jeep Cherokee is popular. The Chinese model BAIC Qishi is a copy of it.

The analogue is offered with both rear and four-wheel drive. There are also two engine options to choose from. The model is completed with motors for 122 and 141 liters. from. respectively. These are very weak engines. Even the 1992 Jeep Cherokee was equipped with 211-strong 5.2-liter engines. And modern versions SRT8 6.4 4WD, produced in 2013, under the hoods have a motor capacity of 468 liters. from. And the clearance of the Chinese analogue to the off-road indicator does not hold out. It is 18 centimeters, while the Jeep Grand Cherokee has a clearance of 21 centimeters.

By the way, the production of BAIC Motor belongs to several more cars visually similar to the American SUV. This is BAIC BJ20 and BJ40. These Chinese counterparts are a little more impressive. BJ40, for example, is equipped with a 250-horsepower 2.3-liter turbo engine. In China, its price starts at 130,000 yuan (1,075,000 rubles).

Analog Mini Cooper

It is also worth noting with attention, listing Chinese copies of famous cars. "Double" of the memorable hatchback from the UK is the Lifan 320. This compact copy is equipped with a 1.3-liter 89-horsepower engine. It allows the car to accelerate to a maximum of 155 km / h. At the same mark of 100 km / h the arrow of the speedometer overcomes only after 14.5 seconds after the start. The price of a hatchback in China starts from 50,000 yuan (415,000 rubles).

It should be noted that there is also one more model, known as Lifan 330 Smily. It is even more like the Mini Cooper. Because in this version, the manufacturers got rid of the strange strange elongated optics, and replaced it with standard round headlights. All the rest, including technical specifications, remained unchanged.

Premium SUV

As it was already clear, Chinese automakers like to create copies of luxury cars. The Hawtai Motor Group was no exception. His production belongs to the model B35 Boliger, in the guise of which, with the naked eye, you can see similarities with the elite Porsche Cayenne crossover . The profile and the back are almost completely identical, but the front is transformed. Another optics is installed, the hood does not look so smooth and elegant, and the radiator grille is similar in design to those that are different models of Bentley Motors.

The salon is almost like the interior of the Porsche Cayenne - layout, ergonomics, electronics, trim. That's just the color solution is different. And not everyone seems to be successful. Beige finish in combination with elements made under a tree, it looks contradictory.

What about the characteristics? Chinese copies of cars in them very much lose to the originals, and B35 Boliger including. This crossover is equipped with a 160-horsepower 1.8-liter engine, controlled either 5-manual transmission, or 4-automatic transmission. The price of this model in China reaches 247,000 yuan (2,045,000 rubles).

"Double" leader among SUVs

Everyone knows that the company Land Rover produces the best off-road vehicles. Cars of Chinese production are unlikely to ever be able to boast worthy off-road qualities. Although the models that visually resemble the crossovers of the British company, there are.

Take, for example, Hongqi LS5. This model looks powerful and brutal, and in large part due to its dimensions, because in the long machine reaches 5 198 mm. Its height is 1,890 mm, and the width is 2,098 mm. Ground clearance is more than 30 cm.

Under the hood of this all-wheel drive SUV, a good 381-strong 4-liter V8 engine is installed, which works in tandem with an 8-speed automatic. The price of the Chinese crossover is not yet known.

Other copies

It should be noted that only a few of the most striking examples have been listed above. In fact, the list of Chinese copies of famous cars is counted in hundreds of titles.

Most of all in this list of names of Japanese and Korean models. The compact crossover Nissan Qashqai, for example, has two analogs, not unlike each other. This is Venucia T70 and Dongfeng AX7. True, the first option is cheaper. The price of the models is 90,000 and 115,000 yuan respectively.

There are also analogues of models X-Trail, Tilda, Navara. There are many copies of Mitsubishi cars. Especially many analogues of the Pajero model. And all of them, by the way, are produced by the concern Changfeng.

Of course, there are many "clones" of Toyota Motor Corporation models. Even the cars of such serious engineering companies as Subaru and Suzuki have often been taken as a prototype for creating inexpensive Chinese copies. Needless to say, in China they even tried to create a copy of the Rolls-Royce Phantom! It became a Geely GE car with a salon that looks luxurious for a Chinese model. True, the engine produces only 163 liters. from. And by the way, the company Rolls Royce sued the corporation Geely for the apparent plagiarism. So the model will not work on the world market. It can only be bought in China.

In conclusion, I would like to say that many analogues are very popular. In Russia they are rare, but in China they are in great demand. This is not surprising, because they are really scarce. And people are willing to pay for a car that has average technical characteristics, but has a premium appearance.
