How to grow geranium at home? Very simple. There are several conditions that need to be fulfilled so that a healthy and blooming geranium will please you for a long time. Let's consider them in more detail:

1. Many flowers (geraniums are no exception) are very fond of light. To the flower grew and pleased you with its flowers, place it on the windowsill, where most of the sun.

2. The air should be moderately humid, under such conditions the geranium can transfer a low, but not a negative temperature.

3. Watering should be regular. In summer all indoor plants, geraniums, in particular, need more intensive irrigation. In winter, watering is reduced.

4. With regard to fertilizers, in summer, the required amount of water (10 grams per bucket) is added weekly to the water for irrigation. In the remaining seasons, you need to feed less.

5. Transplant pelargonium is best in the soil, which includes 2 parts of the garden land and 1 part of peat. Remember about drainage - it is necessary for domestic and garden plants.

6. Like many flowers, geranium can be propagated both vegetatively and seeds.

7. Geranium is most susceptible to fungal diseases, such as gray rot, rust on roots and the like. To cure the plant, it is necessary to use various fungicides.

8. With regard to pests, it can be either aphids, or mites, which get rid of with special preparations.

Many flowers - geraniums are no exception - have healing properties. It is best to make oil out of it. To do this, you need to collect the leaves, wash them and grind them in a meat grinder. The resulting mass is put in a jar and poured with vegetable oil (it is important that it covers all the leaves). Next, you need to put the jar in a dark place for 2 weeks. After it is necessary to boil the mass in a water bath for 45 minutes, cool and strain. Everything, the medicinal oil is ready. Keep it in a dark place. This remedy helps with bleeding and bruises. Well, it will help with a cold or sinusitis. Will help geranium and with fungal infections stop. Oil from geranium will also help you cure stomatitis, depriving, burns and will bring tangible benefits in some other diseases.

Many flowers, geraniums in particular, have the ability to scare off flies. Another useful property of this flower: if you put the leaves in jars of jam, then you do not need to be afraid of mold. Thus, geranium is not only very beautiful, but also a useful plant that can grow both on the windowsill and on the street.
