The deputies immediately approved the draft law in three readings at once, then forwarded it to the Federation Council for consideration. "We are counting on the fact that the presidential initiative will find support in the lower and upper house of the main legislative body," the assistant to the head of the Russian state said earlier.

The beginning of privatization

As you know, the process of privatization in our country started in the early 90-ies of the last century. Subsequently, its terms were repeatedly postponed: at the beginning of 2007, then - at the beginning of 2010, and then - on March 1 last year.

Experts predicted that after the expiration of the last deadline, Russians will register ownership of the housing they previously lived in, having previously paid its market value. Those citizens who did not have this financial opportunity could use the procedure of deprivatization of the residential real estate object, in other words, the apartment was put on the balance of the city property, and the persons who lived there acquired the status of social employers. At the same time, the law prohibits them from making transactions with the aforementioned real estate object and transferring it as hereditary property.

Now free privatization of the apartment is extended until March 1, 2015. At the same time, the de-privatization procedure discussed above for the same period is prolonged.

Earlier, the city officials announced their intention to make the apartment deprivatized for Muscovites perpetual.

What does the law require?

In accordance with the requirements of the law, for the registration of a property in private ownership you need to obtain the consent of all family members who reside in it, as well as those who turned 14 years old.

Persons recognized as legally incapacitated by law (those who are in the age range of 14 to 18 years) can formalize privatization to a property only with the consent of their legal representatives. If one of the relatives who lives together in the apartment objects to privatization, then he must officially refuse to implement this procedure. In this case, other members of the family can arrange housing in common ownership.

It is necessary to emphasize that the question of how long the privatization of apartments has been extended is losing relevance for those who made re-planning in it without the permission of the relevant authorities. It is also impossible to formalize the private ownership of housing, which is located in the emergency house, which is subject to demolition.

Features of the procedure for free privatization

The term for processing the contract, as a rule, does not exceed two weeks from the date of application.

At the final stage, the interested person applies to the registering authority, which will subsequently issue a certificate confirming the proprietor's rights to the residential property.
