Yamaha snowmobiles

Snowmobiles series "RS" appeared in the past, 2004, the year and immediately attracted the attention of connoisseurs of reliability and convenience. Virtually all machines of the new series have many external and internal elements, inherited from the "RX" series, which combines snowmobiles for extreme sports and races, and from quieter ones intended for entertainment or work. However, "family" features are clearly seen not only in their appearance, but also in the design of the chassis and engines.
The test did not take place in the most favorable weather conditions. Speech, of course, is not about homo sapiens, many of whom still managed to thoroughly shiver, but about a technique that does not really like almost a plus temperature, as well as wet and heavy snow. In the role of "rabbits", which became the subject of study of journalists with different experience in managing winter technology, the tourist "RS Venture TF" and the sport "RS Rage" were taken.
So, dressed in accordance with the weather and the upcoming adventures, most of those present at the test began to take turns to learn new techniques. Since nature prepared a surprise for the participants of the test - on the lake, where it was supposed to conduct test races, under the "heavy" and viscous snow of about 15 cm thick there was a layer of water of centimeters and then only ice began - representatives of "Petroset-Bolshoy" quickly organized a new route . And we must give them due - despite the spontaneity of laying a new route, it was followed by steep climbs, and sharp turns, and tram-pancakes, and a good "straight", which could be "pootzhagat" in full.
The first experimental, which fell into the hands, was a new "tourist" "RS Venture TF". This snowmobile has almost everything you need for travel, starting from a 115-horsepower four-stroke engine and a long caterpillar and ending with such trifles as a special connector for connecting external consumers (for example, heating a helmet). Acceleration of the "tourist" can not be compared with the same process in the sports car, however, "RS Venture TF" has a fairly fast start with both a driver and an additional load, in which the passenger acts. Thanks to the 384 cm long track and the original design of the rear suspension, you can be sure that when the trigger is fully pressed, the snowmobile immediately starts its run without burrowing into the snow. The "RS" three - cylinder four - cycle engine is installed on the "RS" series snowmobiles with good traction in almost the entire speed range. At the same time, the original exhaust system significantly reduces noise in the driver's and passenger seats, and exhaust fumes remain behind the stern, and not under the hood. The exhaust system differs from the traditional snowmobile in that the exhaust pipes pass through the housing and exit at the rear of the machine.
The modern front suspension has several settings, which makes the ride comfortable both at full load and unladen - with one driver. Rear suspension "ProComfort" also has its own settings, which allow you to precisely match its rigidity for different loads. Correct adjustment of the suspension affects not only the convenience of travel, but also the safety of traffic. When driving on a rolled track alone, not very pleasant sensations arise when you overcome small longitudinal shafts formed after the passage of another snowmobile. However, the longitudinal build-up, which occurs, can be "removed" in two ways: either by correctly adjusting the rigidity of the suspension, or by slightly reducing the speed.
Due to the long length of the "RS Venture TF" it is not very convenient to maneuver among trees at high speed, although if the track has a rolled surface, then it's enough to slow down the speed, and this problem is exhausted. Small transverse shafts, as well as hillocks up to a meter high, are better to overcome, slightly reducing the speed at the beginning of the lift in such a way that on the top the front suspension is not unloaded and the skis have good grip with the surface of the traffic. Once the skis have crossed the top point, and the front part of the caterpillar clings to the top, you can add speed. In other words, the behavior of this "tourist"
Fully complies with all the norms and rules of management, which are now made to snowmobiles of this class.
When driving on smooth rolled snow "RS Venture TF" behaves quite predictably, allows you to quickly accelerate and for a long time to go at high speed, and with great comfort. Turns on the rolled track are better to make in the traditional for tourist cars style - a little dropping speed directly at the time of turning to slightly load the front suspension.
As a rule, when riding a snowmobile, experienced drivers do not often use brakes, the simple discharge of gas helps to reduce the speed. The new engine of the "Genesis" series very well allows you to slow down the running of the snowmobile, it is enough just to release the trigger of the gas. It is advisable to use the brakes only in case of emergency cases and fast maneuvers on limited areas.
