Royal mushrooms: shish kebab, French appetizer

To prepare mushrooms in a crispy batter, royal mushrooms are great: they are juicy and fleshy.

The recipe for this dish requires:

  • Mushrooms (royal champignons) fresh - 1/2 kg;
  • Drinking water - 1 glass;
  • Wheat flour - how much it will go for batter;
  • Bread crumbs - how many will come in for breading;
  • Pepper ground (black, red) - to taste;
  • Salt - to taste;
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying.

Mushrooms cleaned, rinsed under a stream of cold water, dried on a paper towel.

Prepare batter: in the flour gradually pour the water, stir to a smooth texture of sour cream, add salt, pepper, and stir again.

Mushrooms alternately dipped in batter, then in breadcrumbs (crackers). Observe that the breading is well "seized" on the mushroom.

Put the mushrooms on a baking tray and bake in the oven. When the breadcrumbs are browned, take the portobello out of the oven, thread each champignon on a skewer, put it on a dish. Serve with sour cream or other favorite sauce.
