What should be a real man

- Who is the ideal man?

"The one who believes that his wife is an ideal woman."

(Bearded anecdote)

A question that worries women at all times: what should a real man be like? First, all women respond without hesitation: smart, tall, handsome, rich. Then, having sustained a pause and having comprehended the question, hesitantly added: kind ... spiritually strong ... able to understand, protect ...

I was convinced that every woman in her own way represents the only, unique, real ideal man. And his image very often does not correspond to the model that came to us from Hollywood movies.

The image of a tanned gentleman in a cowboy hat excites girls about 16 years old. Then they begin to understand that the hat and muscles are not the main thing. And the question of what a real man should be, answer (not always aloud): - Rich.

Girls grow, get married, their worldview changes.

At an older age, the same question as what a real man should be, gives a completely different answer. Undoubtedly, material prosperity is vital, and a man must always remain an earner. However, the statistics knows a lot of examples, when a man was both handsome and wealthy, and in bed is good, and women left him to the poor and ugly. Why?

Probably, to some extent answers the question of one sociological international study in which more than 1000 women were accused. They were asked to name the qualities of the present, from their point of view, men. The result was somewhat unexpected. Qualities were distributed in this order (in descending order):

  • Kind, caring, affectionate;
  • Intelligent, educated;
  • Sexy, attractive;
  • Honest, truthful;
  • Strong - willed, strong in spirit;
  • Business, responsible;
  • industrious;
  • beautiful.

It seems to me that it is impossible to give a complete answer to the question of what an ideal man should be like. Each representative of the female half of humanity has her own personal image of the ideal. I can only speculate about who I represent as an ideal for myself.

So, from my own point of view, a real man should be:

  • Looking like a man. I can stand on the concept of "unisex" and "man". A real man should make an impression at first sight: to be fit (not thin, namely tightened), collected, clean, fragrant smelling good perfume and freshly shaved. Only under these conditions can I separate it from the crowd;
  • He must be well educated and educated. He should interest me. To be always new, interesting, perhaps somewhat mysterious;
  • Mobile mentally and physically. I am a woman, I think broadly, figuratively, but slowly. My ideal must think faster and know more;
  • Responsible and independent. I'm not at all baffled by the second roles in the family, if my man is able to provide my comfort (spiritual and physical) without asking me every minute how to act;
  • Loving, understanding, gentle, affectionate. He must love me, children, parents. Be able to regret, caress, in time to support. A man is a rock, able to hide from the wind, heat, weather. I really love the words that have become a proverb: "A real man will always achieve what a woman wants";
  • Not drinking. It is the smell of sour alcohol that I associate with the word "man", and I, as I said earlier, do not consider them real men;
  • Reliable. This is probably the most important for me. I have to believe my man. And trust;
  • Versatile. He must be able to turn my head, drive me crazy and sober, put in place at the right time. Give me the will, but act so that I do not need it.

Perhaps many do not agree with me. And that is great. Because a real man - he is different: tall and small, thin and with a big belly, bald and unshaven. How many women - so many ideas about a real man. But, it seems to me that each of us will agree with the lines from the poem of the Soviet poet Eduard Asadov. He answers the question about what a real man should be like: "... He is just ready to come to the rescue, if it's bad for you."
