Roughly speaking, a netbook is a small notebook that has to cope with tasks that do not require large capacities. Perhaps, very few people remember, but it was for these purposes that laptops were once designed: mobility, the possibility of autonomous work, small size, good performance for solving simple problems. It's clear that laptops were not designed to play them in games, and that's not why it's another matter when using a laptop to sit on the Internet or look through documents. However, as time passed, the twenty-first century came, technologies developed and developed and a netbook appeared. Modern netbooks can have performance that does not differ from the average laptop, but at the same time, the netbook will be cheaper in price, smaller, lighter in weight and able to autonomously work more time. Thanks to all these factors, netbooks and began to make a serious competition to their older brethren.

There are different operating systems for netbooks, so when you buy a new device, you should take this seriously and think carefully before installing any operating system on the netbook. Now we will try to figure out which operating system is best for a netbook.

Windows 7. What to hide, this OS is the most popular operating system in the world. Most of all computers in the world work on "Windows". The seven was released in 2009 and immediately became incredibly popular among PC users and laptops, but what about netbooks? Fortunately, the developers took care of this and released several versions of the new OS. The most easy-to-use and most suitable version of the seven for a netbook is Windows 7 Starter. This OS is lightweight compared to other versions of this operating system and is made by Starter specifically for netbooks. There is no doubt that this is the best operating system for a netbook.

In second place is the operating system from Apple, called OS X. We all know that the "apple" company produces premium equipment, which for years ahead is ahead of its competitors, in their operating system this fact is on the face. The system has a very nice appearance and a very simple interface, which, after careful tuning, will be clear to everyone. However, unfortunately, you can officially install the operating system from Apple only on the devices of the same company, so if you are the lucky owner of the netbook from Apple, you can only envy, because it is the products of this company, oh, how not cheap. If you do not have a netbook from the "apple" company, then it's best to forget about the existence of this OS.

Linux Mint is the third operating system for the netbook, which we are considering. If you need a netbook primarily for solving simple office tasks, as well as surfing the Internet, then this operating system is the best choice. The system under consideration is very easy to use and does not require special knowledge to configure, since it is very simple. The big plus of this OS before Windows is that this OS is free and anyone can get it. Many users use Linux Mint on their netbooks, because to work with a netbook, it is ideal.

So, after considering three operating systems for netbooks, we can conclude that it is difficult to identify the best system, it's a matter of everyone's taste, but for the sake of justice, it's worth noting that most of the users choose Windows 7.
