What does "B" mean in the military ticket? Restricted to military service. Exemption from conscription in peacetime

The decoding of the military ticket data is necessary for employment or admission to an educational institution. It is important to understand the contents of your own personal document, and the military ticket is one of the most important. Consider how to decipher those mysterious abbreviations that are put there. Especially often it is possible to hear the question - what does the "B" category mean in the military ticket ?

What data does the military ticket contain?

In addition to the basic data of the person liable for military service, his profession and educational institution, information on military service - rank, post, military specialty and anthropometric information - height, size of shoes and headgear are entered there. Information on registration and withdrawal, taking the oath is also noted.

In addition, the ticket shows the category of validity and shows the results of medical examination (medical examination).

If a specific disease is detected, first its number is listed in order in the officially approved list of diseases, then a letter corresponding to the severity of the progression. First, the most complex medical abnormalities are listed, then, in descending order, those that are lighter.

What are these categories?

In order to streamline the conscription into the army and enroll in a military institution for study, a special list of categories of fitness for service for health reasons was developed. Depending on what type of letter doctors at the medical board assessed the level of the draftee, he will go to one or another army or even receive exemption from military service.

These categories are not something unchangeable, perhaps a re-examination. You can change the category by going through a comprehensive treatment. It is also necessary to monitor changes in legislation, as the eligibility criteria are regularly updated. It is especially useful to know what the category "B" means in the military ticket, what advantages it gives to the draftee and what, on the contrary, is fraught.

Think about the future

When employing a citizen who received a category "B" or "D", problems may arise - employers are not welcome candidates with poor health. About service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Measures, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the FSB will almost have to be forgotten, and it is also better not to apply for vacancies in a number of state and municipal organizations.

The prohibition on issuing a driver's license is not relevant - if it's not about serious problems with the musculoskeletal system or the psyche.

What can be the category of fitness for service in the army

Any citizen who has a military ticket, there is one of the five accepted categories of validity. They are denoted by capital letters from "A" to "D", and unconditional release from conscription into military service is guaranteed only by two of them. The same ones that allow the conscript to serve are often accompanied by a number of digital signs indicating the type and kind of recommended troops.

Category "A" indicates that the recruit is completely healthy and fit to carry out military service. If this letter is assigned, it is considered that no medical abnormalities have been identified in the medical examination.

After receiving the category "A", the draftee can serve in any troops. Sometimes in a place with a letter put a special figure from 1 to 4 with an indication of a specific type of troops. The figures for this letter can mean the following:

  • "A1" - had minor illnesses, can serve;
  • "A2" -transference to injury or seriously ill.

Health is not ideal, but you will serve

Most often in military tickets there is a category "B". In practice, this means that the recruit has certain health problems, but not so serious as not to be called upon. Such young men are recognized as fit for service with some restrictions. A military-registration specialty will have them such that a number of troops will be with her closed.

We will repeat, neither the postponement nor the full exemption from the service of conscription in the presence of category "B" is not discussed.

What does "B" mean in the military ticket?

Serve with her or not? And what is the difference between it and the previous one (that is, "B")? This question is of concern to the vast majority of young people.

Category "B" - is limited to military service. Having the given letter in the ticket, the citizen is released from the military conscription, since its presence implies at least one of the serious diseases envisaged by the official list of diseases and not allowing them to serve in connection with the state of health. Such ailments, more often than not, are chronic and accompany a person all his life.

The citizen is released from service in peacetime and enlisted in the reserve. At the same time, according to the law, he is fit to be in time of war, that is, if there is a war, he will be called.

If suddenly a trauma

The draftee receives the category "G" in the case of temporary unfitness to the passage of service. He is given a respite for medical reasons, but he can not count on full release. The delay is given for a period of one or two half-years until the end of the draft age.

Most often, a similar category is assigned in case of trauma or a serious illness, which implies a further recovery (for example, a fracture occurred).

Those who do not serve

The category "D" on the page of the military ticket certifies absolute unfitness to service. Assign it to a few citizens who have a permanent serious illness or disability incompatible with service in the army. Such citizens are released from military duty immediately and for ever - they are not subject to a call in any case.

When the letter does not suit

Sometimes there is a need to replace the existing category. Let's say you have a "B" category on your ticket (limited to military service), but now there is a need or an opportunity to "get rid" of it - for example, for employment purposes. In this case, the re-certification procedure can be initiated by yourself. You should send a written statement to the military registration and enlistment office where you stand on record, for a second medical examination. The cause of treatment is called positive changes in the state of health.

On the basis of such a statement, the Military Medical Commission of the military registration and enlistment office must necessarily conduct a second examination, either with confirmation of the previous category or with the appropriation of a new one. In case of genuine improvement in health category "B" can be replaced by "B" or even "A".

The recruitment to the ranks of the Sun does not entail this, the procedure is carried out for accounting purposes.

If the military registration and enlistment office refuses the re-examination procedure or the result does not coincide with the medical diagnosis, the actions (or inaction) of the military commissioner can be appealed in court. In addition, there is an independent medical examination.

We hope that this small article explained quite clearly what the category "B" means in the military ticket and how, if necessary, it can be changed.
