Koltsovsky Square (Voronezh): history of creation
In the middle of the XIX century on the site of the modern square was an army parade ground. And a little later it was decided to install a sculptural composition in it. In 1868 a monument to the poet Alexei Koltsov, who was born in Voronezh, was completed. Periods of heyday and decline
