We see a simple scheme without using a controller and a key reader. So, let's start the installation. Problems with installing a monitor basically never arise, since this gadget can be hung anywhere, just to get the wires. And there is absolutely no difference - it's a color video intercom or not.

Although, if you bought a model that transmits data through a wireless network, it will be even easier - it will only connect the monitor to the network.

The video door intercom panel is somewhat harder to install, as it will have to work with solid wall or fence materials. The lock can be electromechanical or electromagnetic. Which one to choose is your business. However, keep in mind that the electromagnetic will not work if the network goes out of voltage, and the first will fully perform its tasks, but to open and close you will need to use the key.

The lock, power supply and intercom can be connected by a two-wire cable with a cross-section of at least 0.75 square meters. Mm. Usually masters use the simplest wire ШВВП: one vein is used to transfer power to the lock, the second - for the signal.

Installation of the system with a key reader

The ability to read keys is one of the functions that make it practical and safer than the system, which includes a video intercom. The connection, the scheme of which is shown below, will change slightly and will look like this:

In fact, all equipment, except for the monitor, is closed on this element of the circuit. Red, we have identified those cores of wires that are responsible for powering devices. How to connect a microcircuit? Do not worry, each of them has a markup, thanks to which to understand where to connect the power, and where the lock, etc., it is understandable, so connecting the video door controller will not be a big problem.

Things to remember

Installation and connection of the door phone, as well as other electronic equipment with appropriate knowledge is performed without problems. However, they will certainly arise, if you do not pay attention to the following recommendations:

1. In the vicinity of the paved circuit there should be no powerful electronic equipment, power line or wiring. This may cause interference and interruptions.
2. The chain should be tried to create whole pieces of wires, rather than molding one cable from several small pieces, since each twist or spike leads to a slight, but still loss of signal.
3. The polarity and the symbols on the equipment must be observed.
4. Finally, all the bolts on the equipment must be clamped after the system is assembled and its operability checked. This will simplify debugging and configuration.
