Venetian plaster with own hands

Many people want to make a beautiful renovation in an apartment or their own house. However, having looked at the high prices for building materials, and also having learned about how much the services of professional masters will cost, the majority rejects this idea as hopeless and impracticable. And not everyone will dare to start repair work independently, except that they will paste wallpaper in one or two rooms, and then stop. But to make repairs yourself, you do not need to have professional skills, sometimes you have enough experience in this area and some knowledge, which, incidentally, is easy to learn on the Internet.

For example, there is a very common opinion that the Venetian plaster with their own hands for the home master is not available. The opinion is wrong and deeply mistaken. Of course, immediately the master master will be difficult to master large volumes, but after some training and exact compliance with the recommendations, the result will certainly be positive.

Venetian plaster is designed for refined and original decoration of walls, ceilings and various decorative elements of the interior. This very peculiar finish coat has an amazing appearance, imitates noble stone surfaces, is an environmentally friendly product. In addition, Venetian plaster with its own hands allows you to hide surface defects, does not crack, is very user-friendly and durable. Work with it is easy enough, because the material is sold in an already finished form. It is enough to choose a composition that matches the color, stock up the instrument, and then you can start working.

Whatever the ways of applying decorative plaster, the sequence of actions and the main stages of the process are almost always the same. Before you start work, you need to carefully prepare the surface: remove old wallpaper or paint, get rid of defects and carefully work it with a primer. The first layer is applied, the principle of work with which is similar to the filling of walls. After its complete drying, the main work begins.

Venetian plaster with their own hands - the occupation is quite painstaking, requiring patience and attention. However, the result achieved in the end is worth the effort.

So, after the preparatory layer, the application of the remaining basic layers is started, which should be several. The plaster is applied in thin even strokes, each of which should be applied perpendicular to the previous one. When carrying out the work, the spatula should be thoroughly wiped, because the technology of applying decorative plaster involves working only with a clean tool. The first main layer is left to dry for 10-12 hours, after which all others are applied in the same way.

Marble effect is achieved due to the fact that each successive layer becomes darker or lighter than the previous one. Sometimes, in order to achieve the desired result, the procedure of applying the solution must be repeated up to ten times, after which it is possible to proceed to the finish finish.

At the final stage, the plaster is first polished with a spatula, and then treated with wax, which is sold as a complete solution. The wax coating is allowed to dry, and then the whole surface is again thoroughly polished, after which the procedure "Venetian plaster with your own hands" can be considered complete.

Of course, it's easy to name the process of doing this fine work, so before you start processing the main surface, you can try the technology of applying on a sheet of drywall - in a word, to practice well. And everything will come out for sure.
