The injections are used to eliminate renal and biliary colic, postoperative and post-traumatic syndromes, which occur with inflammation and edema, as well as for the therapy of gynecological pathologies accompanied by pain and inflammation (adnexitis, primary algodismenorea). The drug "Voltaren" intramuscularly used to eliminate severe migraine attacks. The administration of the solution is most preferred in the initial stages of exacerbations of degenerative and inflammatory diseases.

The drug is injected into the gluteus muscle through a deep injection. It is not recommended to perform the procedure more than two days in a row. If necessary, further treatment is continued with drugs in the form of rectal suppositories and tablets.

One-time daily dosage is 75 milligrams - this is the contents of one ampoule. In exceptionally severe cases, 2 injections are given with an interval of two to three hours in different buttocks. As an alternative, it is recommended to combine injections with other forms of the drug (tablets). However, remember that the daily dosage should not be above 150 mg.
