The drug "Longidase" (nyxes) is intended only for intramuscular or subcutaneous injections and should not be allowed to enter the blood vessels. It has proteolytic activity, and also has a chelating, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effect.

The use of "Longidase" (injections) prevents the formation of collagen proteins in the fibers, there is also an increase in the permeability of tissue barriers, the elasticity of the connective tissue increases. In each individual case, the dose and method of administration of this drug are determined individually and all depends on the patient's age, severity of the disease and many other factors.

Usually subcutaneous or intramuscular injections are done near the affected area in the amount of 3000 IU, the course is from 5 to 15 injections with an interval between their administration from 3 to 10 days, this depends on the severity of the disease. If you need a second course of treatment, you can start it in two to three months.

How to prepare a solution?

To carry out intramuscular or subcutaneous injections, the entire contents of the ampoule must be dissolved in 1.5-2 ml of the procaine solution, it can be either 0.25% or 0.5%. In cases where the body does not tolerate procaine, it can be replaced with 0.9% sodium chloride solution or water for injection.

On cases of overdose with the drug "Longidase" is currently not known.

The medicine "Longidase" can be taken together with antifungal, antihistamine and antiviral drugs, as well as with antibiotics, GCS, cytostatics, bronchodilators.

Joint use of these drugs significantly increases their bioavailability, and when local anesthetics are introduced, analgesia is more rapid. Pregnant women to use the medicine "Longidase" (injections) is contraindicated.
