The drug 'Orungamin'. Reviews about the drug substance.

At present, in dermatology, such a section as mycology has a large specific gravity. This is due to both an increase in the number of cases of diseases, and with some (arising in the process) difficulties in treatment. The latter is also due to the high duration of treatment (from two to three weeks to nine months).

That is why the use of the most highly effective drugs is topical. One of the antifungal agents is Orungamin. Reviews of this drug emphasize its effectiveness against a whole list of fungi (yeast, mold and dermatophytes).

Probably, many of you for the first time hear the name "Orungamin", but "Intraconazole" - is well known to everyone (and, by the way, the first drug is an exact analogue of the second one).

The drug "Orungamin" - an analogue of the drug "Intraconazole", and at the heart of its composition contains the same active substances. The difference between these drugs is reduced only to the manufacturer and the price. Naturally, we are familiar with the international name - "Introconazole", and not the commercial "Orungamin". The instruction for the use of a pharmaceutical drug based on triazole derivatives contains a whole list of indications that helps both the doctor and the patient to apply the drug correctly and effectively.

The described preparation can be represented by various medicinal forms (solution for ingestion and capsules).

The mechanism of action is based on the suppression of the synthesis of ergosterol (this substance is the main component of the cell membrane of fungi). The result of the therapy is estimated after two to four weeks after completion of treatment (in case of mycosis). With onychomycosis (when the nail plate of a sick person is affected), the result can be estimated only six to nine months after the course of therapy.

However, with regard to adverse reactions, the manufacturers themselves of the antifungal agent (in the instructions) indicate the possibility of development: dyspepsia, epigastric pain, hepatitis, jaundice (caused by cholestasis), dizziness and pain, and various allergic reactions.

Like any drug, Orungamin has certain contraindications. So, the drug during pregnancy and lactation, as well as hypersensitivity of the patient to its components are not prescribed.
