Victory Memorial Park

Those who performed the feat, risking their lives. The Great Patriotic War reflects the image of a woman mother, in whose hand the banner is. Next to her, kneeling down, stands a young soldier. It was installed in 1980.

In 1996 they opened a monument that fought in the Caucasus. Three years later, the chapel of the patron saint of warriors, Saint John, was consecrated. Then a memorial to the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident appeared in the memorial park, a year later - the soldiers-internationalists, who were killed in Afghanistan. Even later, in honor of those killed in the Second World War, they opened the avenue of fame and fountain.

Cathedral Square

This is an architectural ensemble in Novocheboksarsk. The area is very beautiful, landscaped. A bronze sculpture of Prince Vladimir is set on a granite pedestal, behind it are the main gates, which are three arches: the largest is the middle one, on the sides of it are two slightly smaller ones. Three paths lead to the stone Cathedral Temple, located on the square, in the center of which there is a fountain. Here there is an icon shop, a chapel and even a hotel.

Baideryakovsky spring

It is located in the village of Baderiakovo. This is a natural and historical complex, which includes a spring and green plantations. Tourists and locals are attracted by a small building, erected in 1912 - the same time when the sprinkling of the spring occurred. It is this that hides a complex water supply system. Sovereign of the Mariinsky Posad Mountain

The most important tourist attraction, which is usually visited in the first place. A century and a half ago, when the city of Mariinsky Posad was still the village of Sundir, Catherine the Great came here unexpectedly. Needless to say, that the Empress was (in a good sense) shocked by the beauty of this area? At the most picturesque point of the beautiful site, the local nobility arranged a reception for her, combined with dinner. And it was after Catherine's visit and her dinner on this mountain that the elevation became known as the Sovereign. Soon, near the mountain, work was begun on the creation of the Catherine's oak grove. Now the oaks are already majestic, "adults" and are a treasure, which is kept by the republic of Chuvashia. Attractions are best viewed in the daytime.

Kazan Church of the Mariinsky Posad

The Church of Our Lady of Kazan was built in 1761 at the expense of the parishioners. Later, in 1889, a merchant named Lavrenty Matveyevsky donated money to the temple, thanks to which it became possible to build limits and establish a bell tower. Outwardly, the church seems asymmetrical because of the extension. But what to say, because both outside and inside the temple is magnificent, unusual, beautiful.

In the 30 years of the last century the building began to be given to different enterprises. And the stable, and ATS, and the warehouse, and the canteen - which there just was not. As a result, the church was abandoned, and only in the 90s was again given to believers. There was no restoration, the building looks very old, some painting is not preserved. But there is something in this primordiality, something that attracts to this temple in the Republic of Chuvashia. Attractions should not always be presented in the palace magnificence.
