All inclusive meal: what does the tourist need to know?

The majority of Russian tourists, going on a long-awaited vacation, prefer to rest on the system all inclusive. And it's no wonder, after all, having paid the cost of the tour, you can have a great time at the hotel with all the comforts and not spend a single cent over paid in your homeland.

Most often the all-inclusive food system is offered in hotels of Egypt or Turkey, but sometimes it can be found in other countries. Due to the fact that all inclusive varieties are getting bigger every year, it's better to understand what their difference is and what is included in the "recruitment package."

The essence of the concept of "all inclusive"

All inclusive or all inclusive (ALL) meals are prepaid services that are provided to the guest after check-in. The most common options for ALL are the following services:

  • Accommodation in a room of the designated category;
  • Three meals a day throughout the day on a buffet basis;
  • Local drinks, including alcohol;
  • Other types of service (in-room safe, mini-fridge, etc.).

Thus, the all-inclusive meal allows you to forget about many problems associated with the organization of recreation. There is no need to spend extra money to pay for dinner in restaurants, as the hotel will offer guests a buffet meal, where there are no restrictions on the amount of food eaten. Depending on the category of the hotel, the number of dishes is from 3 to 10, and also provides fresh pastries, desserts, sweet and fruit.

Alcohol lovers will appreciate the all-inclusive food because of unlimited access to local alcohol. However, one must be prepared for the fact that strong drinks that are not produced in the country of rest will have to be paid additionally. Freshly squeezed juices and ice cream, as a rule, are not included in the price of ALL. Among the services free of charge will be provided rest at the hotel pool and on the beach, a children's animator and, possibly, an evening program.

Varieties of the all-inclusive system

There are different types of all inclusive, which differ depending on the country of rest, the level of the hotel, the cost of the tour and other factors. It should be noted that there are no standards that should be included in the all-inclusive meal, so much depends on the reputation of the hotel, the competition and the imagination of the managers.

Despite this, hotels that have a level of 2-3 stars, offer full board and local drinks at their own expense. In 4-5 star hotels, the price also includes the use of beach accessories and accompanying equipment.

There are several abbreviations of the term "all-inclusive food". As the concept is designated, almost every tourist knows. The most common are ALL (all inclusive), mini ALL (used in hotels of 2-3 stars), UAL (a wider range of free services in hotels 4-5 stars).

Power "ultra all inclusive"

Ultra All inclusive is an essentially extended list of services that a tourist pays when buying a voucher to the selected hotel. This system is most developed in five-star luxury hotels in Egypt and Turkey. As a rule, it includes the following types of services :

  • Round-the-clock system of a food (late breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a night supper);
  • Food delivery to the room;
  • Imported alcohol;
  • Daily refill in the rooms of mini-bars;
  • Free tennis and bowling;
  • Visiting the SPA center, sauna, massage room;
  • Entertainment in the amusement parks and water parks of the hotel;
  • water sports.

Power "all inclusive" (as it is indicated, we have already said) - this is a very convenient concept of recreation. But the system of "ultra all inclusive" is usually quite expensive (more expensive than simple All inclusive). It is worth to clarify that, in turn, Ultra All inclusive has dozens of types: Mega All inclusive, Imperial All inclusive, All inclusive de luxe and so on.

All inclusive in Europe

The European ALL system is significantly different from the all inclusive food in Egypt and Turkey. The reason for such differences lies in the very nature of the emergence of All inclusive, which is in demand at the resorts, where all the entertainment is on site. European tourist centers, in contrast, abound in various restaurants, bars, discos and local attractions. Therefore, the system "all inclusive" Europeans consider unnecessary excess.

Having paid for All inclusive, the guest receives a bracelet or another sign of distinction, which entitles to three meals a day and local spirits. Among the additional services can be offered aqua aerobics, tennis or sauna. In 3-star hotels, there is no special entertainment at all.

Buying a ticket, it is better to check with the tour operator which system is used in the chosen hotel and what it includes. Upon arrival, you can get full information about the services provided.
