Personal rights and freedoms

The basis of a person's legal status is civil rights and freedoms. Almost all of them are absolute in nature. This means that they are not only inalienable, but also can not be limited. The system of rights and freedoms of the individual is both simple and complex at the same time. There have always been many discussions about this kind of rights. Often they are identified with democracy. Human rights and freedoms recognized by the Constitution are a guarantee of democracy. Yes, their value is really great.

Personal rights and freedoms

First of all, they include the right to life. This is an inalienable human right. The rulers of all democratic states agree with this. One can not just take life and take it. In some countries, on the basis of this right, even abortion is banned.

The right to life shows that the state in whose constitution it is secured leads a peaceful foreign policy that is aimed at avoiding armed conflicts and wars.

Personal rights and freedoms are extensive. They also include the right to the dignity of the individual. Yes, honor is truly protected by the constitution of most countries. In general, it is worth noting that modern countries are trying to achieve the maximum level of tolerance and respect for man by man. Personality rights are inviolable. No one can collect and disseminate information discrediting him, without permission to enter his house, disclose his family and personal secrets.

In our country, the dignity of the individual is more spoken not in the Constitution, but in the Civil Code. It contains many articles on the basis of which it is possible to apply to the court with a claim for compensation for moral damage.

The dignity of the individual is protected not only in the life of a person, but also after his death.

Each of us has the right to personal freedom and inviolability. The right to freedom is freedom itself. That is, a person who has the right to freedom, without any additional conditions and permits, has the right to perform any lawful actions. It is important to note that by his actions he should not restrict freedom of other people. Personal rights and freedoms are what guarantee the inviolability of the individual. We ourselves choose what we will do. We can not be prevented even in those cases (legal cases) when we act to the detriment of ourselves. In general, by law, any coercion is prohibited.

Physical violence against a person is impossible. Torture, beating, torturing is all a crime. Responsibility for such actions comes in full compliance with the norms of the Criminal Code.

Personal rights and freedoms also include the right to privacy. Agree, each of us does not want to put something on public display. In this case, we are not talking about any secrets, but about what concerns us personally or our loved ones. In theory, if a person does not want to be talked about, they should not talk about him. Unfortunately, this right is often violated. Especially the famous people suffer. For example, singers, actors, politicians.

Personal rights and freedoms also concern our movements. No one can force us to be in a particular place or not to appear anywhere without some valid and valid reason. We have the right to be where we want.

Our home is our shrine. No one has the right to penetrate into it without our permission. Modern man can not be limited in rights due to belonging to a particular nation. Today in democratic countries all nations are equal. There is also freedom of religion and conscience. In this case, we are talking about the fact that people have the right to profess the religion they want, or not to profess any at all.

Of course, personal freedom and freedom include freedom of speech. Democracy without it is simply impossible.
