The difference between aerobic and anaerobic loads

After you decide to start classes at any fitness club, you need to carefully think over your sports program. For most people, a professional consultation of the trainer is necessary, which in each individual case will be able to pick up the sports exercises in accordance with the physical fitness of the person.

Surely, many of you have heard about "cardio", or aerobic exercise, which several times increase the effectiveness of training, contribute to weight loss, and reduce the risk of diseases. However, very few people know about anaerobic loads, which can also be safely attributed to exercises that are useful for the cardiovascular system.

Everyone who decided to play sports should know what the difference between anaerobic and aerobic exercises is - this will help you choose the most suitable option for yourself.

In the general sense of the word, anaerobes are such organisms that receive energy even with limited intake of oxygen, due to substrate phosphorylation. By analogy, the exercises performed by a person with limited intake of oxygen into the body are called anaerobic. They are performed at the expense of energy, which is stored in the muscles. This is their essential difference from aerobic exercise, for which you need more oxygen that enters the human body during breathing.

Anaerobic loads are associated with any heavy and rapid physical training. These include sprinting, jumping rope, cycling, weightlifting, overcoming steep climbs, and the like.

The fact is that during the performance of intensive exercises, the muscles of a person experience an acute shortage of oxygen, so the carbohydrates present in the body are split without its participation. Lactic acid is produced - a product of the breakdown of glucose. The feeling of fatigue appears when the blood has already accumulated enough lactic acid, so anaerobic loads are considered short-term. However, gradually the human body adapts and it is easier to perceive accumulating lactic acid. The time of training increases, but a person does not feel fatigue so quickly.

Anaerobic exercises promote the intensive use of muscle energy in a short period of time. It is due to this that the musculature is strengthened, and the work of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems is improved. Thanks to such trainings, over time, a person can increase the ability of his body to withstand the accumulation of toxins and accelerate their excretion. It can be safely said that people, for whom anaerobic training has become a habitual activity, increases endurance, and they are much more successful than others can fight fatigue.

It is not surprising that such exercises help in the fight against excess weight - in fact, muscle mass increases and strengthens, so there is no place for fat.

Anaerobic loads should first of all be performed by those who want to increase their strength. In general, they are useful for any person - because who does not dream to be more hardy and not so quickly tired? But before you start such training, you need to know a few simple rules, the observance of which will help to conduct classes as efficiently as possible.

So, in the first place, you need to critically assess the level of your physical fitness. If you are a beginner in sports, you need to start with moderate anaerobic loads. You should prepare your body, giving it a more simple exercise, and in a few weeks you can move on to more intensive training.

It is mandatory to do warm-up before the start of training and "hitching" (stretching and relaxation exercises) after the end of classes.

Anaerobic exercises are contraindicated during pregnancy. But women who want to get rid of unnecessary fat, such training will help to find a more slender figure.
