The definition, characteristics and basic concepts of military service

The basic concepts of military duty are regulated by national legislation. Before considering all the nuances of this issue, one should refer to the main provisions, which will be given below.

On the definition of

Every young person, after reaching the age of majority, must serve in the army, giving the year of his time to the Armed Forces. Military duty and military service are the basic concepts that we have to face during this period and throughout our life. The content and all nuances of the issue under consideration are determined by the legislation of the state and imply:

• The organization of an appeal during a period of martial law or military service;
• The organization of service in the army during the period of mobilization training;

Mobilization period

Mobilization is a concerted effort, the purpose of which is to promptly transfer the Armed Forces, the economy, other forces and assets to martial law. This term is included in the basic concepts of military service.

The maintenance of duty

• Preparation for military service, namely the passage of a medical commission;

The following information is compulsorily collected for each conscript: Name, date and place of birth, marital status, education and place of work, suitability or worthlessness for military service, knowledge of foreign languages, anthropometric data, alternative service, military training, presence or absence Previous convictions.

About initial preparation

Initial preparation for military service is carried out at the age of 17. From January 2 to March 31 each young person must appear at the place of registration. This process is handled by a special commission, which is created, as a rule, in each district or city, subject to the small population.

Initial Activities

If a citizen does not study, does not carry out labor activity, then he must appear in the military registration and enlistment office in order to personally take up military registration. As a rule, such institutions are located near the place of residence. A female female specializing in military training must appear for registration within one year after graduation.

Organization of the service is necessary in order to select future soldiers in the ranks of the Russian army.
