Exercises for the development of memory

All human impressions and experiences leave their mark, stored for a fairly long time and arising in consciousness under certain conditions. That is why memory is a very complex mental process, the constituent parts of which have a close relationship with each other. Remembering everything seen and heard is very important for any person. This allows you to accumulate, and then (if necessary) to use life experience. Human memory is not an ordinary unit function. The processes involved in it are diverse.

There are, as you know, three types of memory: motor, auditory, and visual. The first type of memorization is special. Motor memory allows the human body to record the performance of various actions, in particular, walking. The memorization is done automatically. The visual memory allows us to fix everything we saw in our consciousness, and the auditory memory - the sounds around us.

Only three percent of the population of our planet from birth have a phenomenal ability to remember. All the rest should perform regular exercises for the development of memory. Some people are best able to remember what was seen, others - what was heard. However, the most widely used technique for the development of memory is the impact on its three species simultaneously.

Our consciousness fixes only what we notice. That is why exercises for the development of memory should promote greater attention. How can this be done? For this, it is not necessary to study and apply the newfangled methods of memory development. Attention can be trained on a daily walk, noting certain details. For example, how many red cars passed by, how many men passed with a newspaper in their hands.

Not such complex, but very effective exercises for the development of memory - game. For example, finding ten differences on the pictures helps to concentrate attention on the smallest details. In this case, the human brain is set up for active work.

In the case when visual images are imprinted in the mind more clearly than auditory images, exercises for the development of memory must consist in linking any incoming information with imaginary imagery. For example, in the process of memorizing the number of any phone, you can include an idea of the set of required digits on the device. It is advisable to "hear" short beeps and "ring" again. This simple exercise excellently develops memory.

For a more successful perception and fixing in the mind of any information, it is desirable to make its wording with your own, understandable words for you. Meaningful text is memorized much easier, which also contributes to the development of memory.

Significantly increases the amount of perception and systematization of available information. Having distinguished the main thing, a person helps his brain in determining the most important thing for remembering. A useful action is a note that includes motor and visual memory, and also systematizes information, highlighting keywords and definitions. After that, it will not be difficult to reproduce the volume.
