The best Moscow beaches

Summer is a time of rest, a time when you can forget about the problems and go to the nature with the whole family. The best way is to go out of town for a picnic or fishing. Especially fortunate for those who have a dacha near the pond. But what about the rest of the residents of the capital who do not have this opportunity? Really in a multi-million city there is no place where you can relax and escape from the summer heat? Of course, there are, and not one, but at least a few dozen. But before you collect a swimsuit and towel, you need to find out where the most popular Moscow beaches are and what they can offer. Some previously allowed for swimming places are closed, so you need to have up-to-date information.

List of areas open to bathing

By order of the Government of Moscow from 11 zones provided for recreation with bathing, only 7 have been tested, in others, bathing is prohibited. But this does not mean that everything will remain the same for the next year. Now, such rest areas as "Lake Beloe" are prohibited, water here does not meet the requirements, "Toparevo" and "Beach Club" were also closed. But there are still many places in the city where you can enjoy cool water. These include such Moscow beaches as:

Rest zone "Meshcherskaya"

The first beach in our list is in the west of Moscow, in Solntsevo, on Voskresenskaya Street. This place occupies a relatively small area on the shore. It is very pleasant that there is a forest where you can hide from the sun. Here you will find everything you need, there are even sports grounds. But the situation with the cafe is bad, there are none. You have to bring everything yourself.

"The Big City Pond"

This is absolutely free place, it is located in Zelenograd, on the Lake Alley. There is everything you need for bathing: changing cabins, a shower and a place to stay. There will be entertainment for children. There are many children's playgrounds, and in the water the area under the "paddling pool" is fenced off. True, here you will not see the usual sand, but everything is covered with green and soft grass, which is so nice to have a picnic. But this is not the most popular place that Moscow can boast of.

"Silver Forest"

This beach is located in the north-west of the capital, the entire recreation area is of the same name. In a particularly hot weather, a large number of people gather there, families and large youth companies come here. In fact, there are a lot of beaches here, but they are united into three separate zones, which bear the corresponding numbers. Unfortunately, now only 2 and 3 are available, but they will be enough for a good rest. There is everything that Moscow beaches can offer: children's and sports grounds, free Wi-Fi, ping-pong tables, boat station, and for hire you can always take a chaise longue or sports equipment. It is especially pleasant to be there after last year new benches and booths, new sand were brought here. Admission is free for both beaches.

School Lake

It is an equally popular holiday destination in the 10th microdistrict. The territory is small, part covered with sand, and part of grass. There are also booths, and toilet, and sports grounds for playing volleyball and basketball. The rental offices will gladly offer you to take a boat or a catamaran for a boat trip. Cafe here is plenty, so all you need to take with you is a swimsuit, a towel and a good mood.

"Left bank"

Moscow beaches can sometimes close in the middle of the swimming season, as, for example, this happened more than once with the "Left Bank". But this does not prevent him from opening every year again. It is located on the sandy shore of the Khimki reservoir. Holidaymakers are provided with convenient descent into the water, a fenced area for bathing children, children's and sports grounds, a medical post. Rescuers work here, as well as police officers and an ambulance car. There are also cafes and tents with cold drinks. The beach is absolutely free, so in summer here the apple has nowhere to fall.

Other

The rest of Moscow's beaches are small in size, for example, on the Black Lake in Kosino. It is free, but it has almost nothing, everything will have to be brought from home. From the infrastructure there is only a playground. Another of the available places is a recreation area in the Troparevsky park. The water here is not the best, so most simply come to sunbathe next to the pond, and do not dare to swim. But here there is a chess club, a children's playground and a boat station. There are places for barbecues, so you can arrange a sit-round with shish kebab. There are aviaries in the park, where pheasants are bred, and horses are brought here for horse walks.
