In the 80's, rock compositions became popular. They sounded from the stage, from television screens, in favorite movies, in the metro, but more often in small "apartments". Song stories are events that inspired the creation of a text about the meaning of life, about love, about great things.

"Blood type..."

The well-known song "Blood Group" appeared in 1987. For the first time it was performed by the "Kino" group at the fifth festival in the Leningrad Rock Club. Later this hit was sounded in the popular movie "Needle", directed by Ryszard Naumanov, starring Viktor Tsoi. Thanks to this picture, the composition has gained popularity for many years.

The stories of the songs of the young collective always grew up with legends and intricate fictions. Some thought that the "Blood Group" appeared in the same year of 1987. Others were convinced that it had appeared much earlier. But those and other listeners were united by one thing: a love for a strong text and a combination of the coming changes.

Nautilus

After the popular song Tsoi, including this song, the "Nautilus" group quail. And new waves of speculation enveloped her story. It was said that the singer Butusov confesses in the plot "I want to be with you" in what is connected with him personally. For example, that this is a story about a girl who for a long time wrote letters to Vyacheslav, when he was in the army, and without receiving a single reply message, the lover hung herself. But in reality it is not true, because Vyacheslav himself never served in the army. Although this became known a few years after the release of the "Blood Group", and only thanks to articles of solid newspapers of the time.

Other fans said that this song is about the wife of the performer, who died during the fire. At that time, it was difficult to distinguish believable facts from rumors.

But in fact the history of the appearance of this text is much simpler. The creation of songs and poems for the author Ilya Kormiltsev was the stage of a dispute with friends. Once he told me that he was able to compose a poem with a chorus in 10 minutes while he was waiting for a meeting with his girlfriend, although the first line of the song was "In a room with a white ceiling ..." Butusov borrowed from another poem. Ilya's participation was limited only to the compilation of the text, despite the fact that the cover of the released album indicated the co-authorship of the Prince of Silence.

"I wanna be with you"

But when, for the first time, Butusov sang the song "I want to be with you" to my acquaintances and friends, they did not take it. Many considered it too "poppy". The artist himself perceived the song as a personal revelation. This is a story about a man who comes to the knowledge of love as part of the world. Why this composition was loved by the courageous "vagabond", fans only understand with time. Similar emotions need to be experienced on their own to appreciate the depth of meaning and the original poetry of the text.

"Ugly Elsa", "Crematorium"

Particularly interesting are the stories of the songs of the Crematorium. For example, "Ugly Elsa", published with the album "Coma" in 1988.

The prototype of the main heroine is a real person from the "Yama" beer store, where Grigoryan always spent his free time. The woman gained fame because she could readily run to a nearby stall for drinking. For this she was often awarded a free glass of fiery water.

Despite such a negative image, Elsa - a woman who always loved the truth, was honest. She never deceived a single visitor. That is, she always returned with a drink to those who sent for her. Grigoryan himself recalled that he had once had to drink with the local authority, who sent Elsa for vodka. But the store opposite has already closed. The woman did not stop. Everyone believed that she would not return, that she took the money and disappeared. But suddenly Elsa appeared at the door, and in her hands she had a can of pure medical alcohol.

The heroine won the respect of all those present at that time, the visitors of the "Pit." Grigoryan always considered her a colorful lady before, and now the image was supplemented by honesty. The epithet "ugly" came from a completely different story, which happened much later.

"Crematorium"

The songs of the 80's have unexpected roots. One day, Armen and his friends were visiting a friend, but suddenly the writer Venedikt Erofeev came unexpectedly. And then the plot developed as planned scenario. All the guests, as expected, drank some wine, and together with them the hostess sipped her glass and went to rest.

When the food on the table was over, Erofeev, being drunk, looked around and saw an aquarium full of exotic fish. On this day, the fish were not lucky - they were in a frying pan. Despite the fact that the fish were very expensive, Japanese, this did not stop the hungry man. When the hostess woke up, she was in shock. In a rage, she drove them all out. Armen remembers how that evening the mistress in her old, battered robe was sitting in an embrace with the aquarium, scratching something on his glass with thin fingernails, slightly peeling off the lacquer. This picture the author perpetuated with the line "Like a little animal, claws scraping on the glass."

So there was an unforgettable text (a song about Elsa) of the rock group "Crematorium", which once again proves: excessive drinking always ends badly.

As for the song "Ugly Elsa", she got on the list of the most beautiful, the best songs of rock music. For several years it was ordered by listeners on the radio. It sounded several times a day, which once again proved its popularity among the youth of the 80s.

"Sunday"

But the stories of the songs of the group "Sunday" have less conjecture. "Night Bird", included in the repertoire, was dedicated to the drummer Fokine, whose fate brought to live in America. Therefore, her first name was "Farewell to a friend."

Nikolsky himself said in his memoirs that the song appeared because of the melancholy of the failed group, which disintegrated, not yet becoming firmly on the stage of popularity. The collapse of all hopes led to the creation of such hits as "When you understand with the mind" and "I myself am from those who hid."
