2002 for the fans of the group "Aria" can be characterized by a line from the famous song: "And the world cracked in half, boils over the rift." What seemed indestructible and cult, crumbled right before our eyes. And few people believed that on the ruins of the legendary group, you can build something worthwhile. How? What for? And will this result in anything at all? Happened. Maybe not as it was. Very different. Worse or better - everyone decides for himself.

Start

"Kipelov" is a group whose history begins in September 2002, when the former participants of "Aria" - Sergey Terentyev (guitar), Valery Kipelov (vocals) and Alexander Manyakin (drums) - a fateful decision to continue creative activity and together create a new group. In order not to waste time on promotion, the group decided to call the surname of the vocalist: recognizable, epic and suggestive of musical style. Evil tongues talked about the megalomania of the vocalist, which manifested itself in all its glory.

Whatever it was, the name caught on. But the situation was complicated by the lack of a bass guitar and another guitar. The band was invited to the former member of the "Aria" Sergei Mavrin (guitar) and Alexei Kharkov (bass guitar). In such a composition, the rock band "Kipelov" begins to conquer the audience from the middle of October with the program "The Way Up". In the repertoire came part of the old songs "Aria" and the album "Time of Troubles". The hit, recognized from the first notes, becomes "I'm free". The song takes on a frenzied popularity, it is even called a kind of anthem of the band.

New program and new composition

The rock band is confidently afloat and in early October 2003 begins concert activity with the Babylon program, which was immediately compared to the Coliseum of the new Aria. Despite criticism and skepticism, the self-titled single "Babylon" occupies the top lines in the charts of "Our Radio", and the band gathers a sold-out at a concert in "Luzhniki". The fans believed that the black strip was left behind ... But in the middle of October Sergei Terentyev leaves . We have to urgently look for a replacement, and in his place invite the guitarist from the "Legion" Andrei Golovanov. The choice turned out to be successful, the musicians played, and the tour begins with a new program.

In February 2004, the first studio work of the band was released - the mini-album "Babylon", which includes three songs: "I'm Free", "Babylon", "Time of Troubles". In September of the same year, the clip with Edgard Zapashny and the lion Michael was shot on the title track.

Debut album and group activities

In the beginning of November, after the tour is over, Sergei Mavrin leaves the rock band, Victor Smolsky , the guitarist of the Rage band, is temporarily invited to the place of the guitarist. And "Kipelov" begins work on the debut album "The River of Time".

A joyful event for fans and musicians is getting the title of "Best Rock Band of the Year".

After the completion of the studio work the musicians go on tour with a new concert program, perform at rock festivals, record the soundtrack "Talisman" to "Running on the Waves". In September, released the first album and starts a tour in his support.

2006 begins for the musical collective successfully - at last a permanent guitarist Vyacheslav Molchanov has been found, and since May the band has performed in an updated composition. So, the participants of the permanent composition, unchanged to this day: Valery Kipelov - the vocalist and the face of the band, behind the drum set - Alexander Manyakin, Vyacheslav Molchanov and Andrey Golovanov - guitarists, bass guitarist Alexei Kharkov.

In the beginning of autumn 2006 the concert tour "In the fifth round" starts, timed to the anniversary of the group. It collects all the presents in all the cities, where the collective comes with concerts.

In mid-October 2007, the album "The Rivers of Times" is re-issued. In general, autumn 2007 was generous for awards: in October Valery Kipelov was recognized as the "Father of Rock" by RAMP, and the group was nominated for "Clip of the Year" and "Hit of the Year". In November, the team received a special award as a group performing with the best live concert.

Second album

The concert activity of the rock band freezes, the musicians start working on a completely new program. In February 2009, the mini-album "On the Edge" was released. In December, in the "Olympic" is a big concert, at which the band presents fans with new, not yet recorded songs. However, the release of the album is delayed - it will only be released in February 2011 and will cause an ambiguous reaction of the public. The sound of the band changed a little, and not everyone liked it. After the release of "Live in spite of" the creative team goes on tour.

Work on the new program

Since spring 2012, work has begun on the new single "Reflection". From October 11, 2012 the tour "X years" starts. In Moscow, with the participation of Sergei Mavrin and Sergei Terentyev on December 1, a grandiose performance takes place.

In early April 2013, the group "Kipelov" presents fans with a mini-album "Reflection". The single included three tracks: "I'm free", "Salieri and his reflection" and Nadir's aria from Bizet's opera "Pearl Fishers".

After the tour, the musicians start working in the studio on a new program, only occasionally giving concerts. In 2014, fans are shown a song from a new program, the author of the text is the legendary Margarita Pushkina.

2015 is more than quiet - the group "Kipelov" concentrates on studio recording of materials.
