In the future, Victor always uses Danila as a "wand-rescue stick" for himself in not too pleasant cases and situations. D. Bagrov understands the problems of his brother clearly, quickly and mercilessly, in the best traditions of the dashing Russian 90s of the 20th century.

At the end of the film, he liquidates the main enemy of his brother, guessing that Victor kept him all the time. In one of the final frames of the film, he gives the brother money and sends him home to his mother.

But Danya (Sergey Bodrov - actor "Brother 2") is not only a "machine for murder." He has a friend Hoffman (Yuri Kuznetsov), and a friend of Sveta (Svetlana Pismichenko). According to Kostya, he is going to talk with the director of the bank, in which he serves as a security guard, Valentin Belkin, that he somehow influenced the American. Kostya wants to free his brother from the captivity of contract bondage. But V.Belkin (Sergey Makovetsky - actor "Brother 2") instead of influencing the American, exerts pressure on Kostya, so much so that he, without calculating the strength, is killed.

Of course, Danila takes the whole story personally and visits V.Belkin with the intention to first find out details about Manisa and then kill him, but backs down from the planned plan and leaves the director of the bank alive (it's painful for his little son to read poetry about his homeland with a sonorous voice ).

Then everything is not so interesting, because in the movie "Brother 2", the actors play it in front of the viewer frame-by-frame scenes from a typical American action movie. Victor Bagrov goes into the shadows, turns into a comic character, and on the foreground of the action goes Daniel - the Russian "Rimbaud". First, he makes enemies for himself throughout America, then heroically escapes from the most difficult situation, sparing no one and killing everyone. He, of course, returned the money to the brother of his deceased friend, but he seemed not happy about such a happy ending for him. Sergei Bodrov plays in this film a sort of "God out of the machine" of the Greek tragedy. It's strange that in the movie "Brother 2", the actors agreed to play an American action film in the Russian cover.

Danila in his later version became much worse than himself young. Earlier (in the first "Brother") he was at least cruel, but human, real, alive. Everyone could recognize him, because such guys were rich in Russian reality of the 90s of the 20th century. He had a homeless drunk friend, he loved an ordinary girl working as a tram driver.

When Danya moved to Moscow, and the 00's came, he changed abruptly. A whole team was found to equip it in America. In the US, he did a showdown in the spirit of the heroes of Schwarzenegger, Stallone and Van Damme. But if in the Russian reality of the 1990s it looked organic and appropriate and even new (it seems that no one had made such films before), when Danila got to the USA, he lost his originality, became one-dimensional, just like the heroes of the above-named "Icons" of militants. In America, such escapades do not surprise anyone. The character of "Danila Bagrov" became flat, because he lost his "Russianness". In him, there was nothing Russian left except the phrase: "The Power of Truth." Summarizing, we can say that in the movie "Brother 2" actors and roles do not match. Actors are good, known, and the role is not too deep.
