Seedlings 'Bulgarian pepper': how to grow

Pepper is a favorite vegetable of Slavic peoples. A tender pulp with a delicate taste makes it indispensable in the preparation of salads, preserves, garnishes. But pepper has not only excellent taste qualities. It is rich in vitamins, macro- and microelements, unique acids. Since the sprouts "Bulgarian pepper" does not require special care, this gives the vegetable even greater popularity.

First you need to determine the seeding time. Pepper is a photophilic plant. Hence, it is optimal to sow the seeds when the light day is large. Gardeners are beginning to sow seedlings in March. If you start planting earlier, it can be fragile and weakly growing due to lack of lighting.

Seedlings "Bulgarian pepper" is grown in various ways: it can be planted in light wooden boxes or in medium-sized pots. It is necessary to put seedling bushes on a well-lit side, preferably in the sun, otherwise you will have to create artificial lighting. The soil must be supplied with wood ash, mixed with sand and humus, based on a 1: 1: 2 ratio. To accelerate the growth of seeds, the surface of the earth should be thoroughly heated. To do this, the soil is pre-filled with hot water, and the outgoing steam is collected under the overcoated film.

As soon as the soil is moistened and becomes warm, it is necessary to begin seeding. A ground soil ball (about 10 cm) placed in a pot or box is leveled, then compacted so as to plow deep grooves in it. The distance between them should be sufficient for picking (about 5 cm will be enough). Then seedlings "Bulgarian pepper" is sown on one and a half centimeter deep into the furrow. Try not to go deeper, so that the seeds can go into growth. After screening, the grooves can be lightly covered with soil solution, which was used to replenish the rest of the soil. Well, we should not forget about watering, which determines the normal maturation of shoots.

Experienced horticulturists plant the soil with growth accelerators. These drugs increase the viability of young seedlings. To protect the soil on the surface from drying, seedlings "Bulgarian pepper" is covered with a film, under which it is contained before the shoot of the first shoots.

As soon as the first sheets begin to appear on the bushes, peppers can be dived. This process increases the number of fruiting seedlings. Now, the primary fertilizing of plants is needed. The secondary is carried out a week after the first transplantation of the seedlings before landing in the open ground.

For pepper seedling, it is necessary to regulate the temperature and access of air under the roots. Soil should not be dry, as well as too moist. Between the rows, the soil should be loosened all the time. If the air has warmed up to a suitable temperature, shoots are sheltered from exposure to sunlight and shaded. An important role in planting and further growth of seeds is played by their variety. Modern varieties of Bulgarian pepper are based on hybrids that better resist disease and are more resilient.

Growing sprouts of Bulgarian pepper, here you should be extremely careful with the pike. If the seeds were weeded out into a solid, it is better not to dive them. Re-seating, one way or another, deforms the root system of the seedling, which causes it to grow slowly. It is recommended to use small plastic containers, from which the seedlings can easily be moved to a larger space without affecting the roots.
