Russian architect Yevgeny Rozanov: biography, works

Domestic architecture is rich in outstanding architects. The beginning of the way

He was born in 1925 - times were difficult, his growing up was the most difficult tests in the country: industrialization and the destructive Great Patriotic War. During the war, the future architect worked as a mechanic at the car factory, helping the front. When Eugene was to choose a profession, the country lay in ruin, it had to be raised and rebuilt, apparently, this was the motive for choosing the Moscow Architectural Institute, where he entered in 1945. In the institute he was extremely lucky, as his teachers were one of the founders of the famous VKhUTEMAS Vladimir F. Krinsky, as well as outstanding followers of the great I. Zholtovsky - Grigory Alexeyevich Zakharov and Zinaida Chernysheva. They were the most advanced architects of the time, the true idols of Moscow's architectural youth. Teachers had a significant influence on the style and taste of the architect Rozanov.

At the end of the institute, Yevgeny Rozanov receives a flattering invitation from Grigory Alexeyevich Zakharov to go to work in his studio. He was actively engaged in graphics, painting and sculpture, his works were regularly exhibited at exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Yevgeny Grigorievich was happily married to the architect-restorer Ilyenkov Aida Vasilyevna, had a son. An outstanding architect died in 2006.
