Protection from the sun of your windows

In the summer heat, when the rays of the "poisonous" sun break through the windows, you want a little coolness and fresh air. The body inexorably asks for moisture, breathing becomes rapid, and the only thing that remains is peacefully waiting for the evening to come and the scorching red star will hide behind the horizon. Is there really no escape from these torments, where is the protection from the sun?

The most common option to combat the stuffy summer season is to install the air conditioner in the room. A huge list of advantages allows you to completely avoid all the problems associated with the high temperature outside the window. First, it is, of course, adjustment of the thermometer column manually. Secondly, a cool breeze that will blow out the room where the air conditioner is installed. Thirdly, it is not so important, the curtains are curtained or not, you can even luxuriate under the bright sunlight in the streams of fresh air. Many models of air conditioners allow you to set a work timer, which is convenient when there is no one in the daytime.

But there are also drawbacks that do not allow most urban residents to use this option - such protection from the sun is not cheap (on average, about twenty thousand for home conditions), and is unlikely to be recouped for several seasons. After all, in many regions of Russia, summer is not always accompanied by anomalous heat and stuffiness.

A cheaper popular option among the Russian population is the blinds - an excellent protection against the sun on the windows. There are several types that differ not only in materials and price, but also in their functions.

The most common in the market today are fabric vertical, which are the cheapest and easiest to install. The standard features of the turns of the blinds make it possible to hide from the sun's rays, from whatever side they shine. To the advantages can be attributed and a wide range with the choice of colors for wallpaper or furniture.

However, there are obvious shortcomings: the fabric quickly burns out in the sun and loses its brightness, dust settles abundantly on it, which can not be seen with the naked eye.

There is another option - horizontal blinds using plastic materials, but such protection from the sun is already losing its popularity due to lack of access to the window in the closed position. Most of them can be seen on the windows of office premises.

Recently, another way to combat sunlight and heat is becoming popular: the tint film on windows. Its properties consist in the fact that it reflects the rays as a mirror and does not let them into the room. From the street it looks like a brilliant heat-reflecting film (something akin to a foil), but from the inside it resembles an automobile tint. This allows in summer the temperature of the air in the houses does not rise above the average and protects the interior from burnout.

Such means of protection from the sun can save on electricity when using air conditioners, with two-layer application reduce the amount of harmful ultraviolet rays passing through the glass, and their cost benefits from any other type of protection against bright sunlight.

The installation of the film is simple, but it still requires some skills, so it's best to turn to a specialist when choosing a sun screen surface.

The latter option is characterized by the cheapest indicator and does not require participation of specialized workers. To do this, you need to buy a thick foil made for windows, not for kitchen accessories. Such protection from the sun will cost only a few hundred rubles, but it will completely block the entry of light into the room and will not allow to enjoy the warmth of summer days.
