Plants of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus: unique species

The nature of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus is protected by mountains from the northern winds. Because of this, it is quite warm here in winter, and in summer it is very hot. Forests here grow quite different: they are thicker, higher, if we compare them with the Crimean thickets. This is due to high humidity and warm weather.
