Installation

How to install a new gasoline pump? VAZ-2107-injector, like its carburetor predecessor, has its own design features, so the installation of a new element will be slightly different from dismantling. So, let's get to work. First, a new gasket must be installed. Its thickness should be about 0.7-0.8 millimeters. After that, mount the insulation - a thickness of about 0.3 millimeters. So we will reach the minimum gap of the pusher outlet, which will be no more than 1.3 millimeters and not less than 0.8 millimeters. If the received indicator is below the specified rate, then the sealing gasket is changed to a heat-insulating one with a thickness of 0.3 millimeters. After the position of the pusher is normal, the gasoline pump is strengthened and tightened with nuts. Then everything goes according to the reverse principle - the fuel lines are connected and the engine is started. We start the motor in order to check the quality of the fuel injection. This completes our replacement of the gasoline pump. VAZ-2107 can now ride without any breakage at any long distance. By the way, in an ideal engine should work without interruptions (even 1-2 minutes), and from the pump there should be no leaks of fuel.
