"Parks and recreation areas." The actors and roles of the brainchild Michael Shura and Greg Daniels

Originally conceived as the original spin-off of the megapopular TV series "Office", a new project of screenwriters and production directors, and concurrently with producers Michael Shoor and Greg Daniels, while still in the making, became an independent television movie.

Behind the scenes

The series "Parks and recreation zones" (the actors-performers of the main roles: E.Pauler, R.Jones, A.Ansari, O.Plaza, N.Offerman and K.Prett) retained most of the characteristic features of their predecessor, among them: pseudo-documentary manner Shooting, the use of an unprofessional camera, "torn" montage, monologues of characters in the form of interviews and, naturally, original humor. The premiere of the TV movie was held in April 2009 by NBC. From the "Office" moved to "Parks and recreation areas" actors Ben Wyatt and Rashida Jones.

Criticism

The first season of the brainchild Michael Shura and Greg Daniels was received with little enthusiasm by the audience and did not arouse enthusiasm among film critics, both the former and the latter considered him a copy of the "Office". Such a cool reception did not cool the working ardor of the creators, and soon appeared the second and third season of the television series "Parks and recreation areas." The actors and roles they performed already became known to a wider audience, and the content made even the most skeptical reviewers change their negative opinions.

Some experts, initially expressed in the talk show extremely unflattering about the project, subsequently recognized the series as one of the best. For example, James Ponovotsik, a leading Time magazine columnist, called the TV movie "the best TV project of 2011" and "fabulous." Also in the top ten TV shows of 2011, the series was delivered by Maureen Ryan from TV Squad. And Weekly Entertainment Weekly marked the picture as "the most intelligent comedy project on TV." Actors and roles of the series "Parks and recreation areas" were selected harmonically from the very beginning, so almost without significant changes moved from one season to another.
