How to make a boat boat for kids - we'll teach you this slowly!

If the house becomes bored in the house, then there is no better way to take it, how to make a boat out of paper. After all, this craft can then be allowed to swim on the real ocean! True, the ocean will still be poured into a basin or a bathtub, and we will do the waves with our own hands, but the ship will overcome them with the same tenacity as the battleship Fearless or the cruiser "Invincible" from the children's book!

Paper boat in origami technique
Now we have a question: how to make a ship out of paper? Firstly, in order to perform the mock-up of the boat in the origami technique, or better to say - the steamer, you need to take a notebook sheet or A4 sheet for the printer, or you can use an ordinary newspaper. The main condition that must be met before you make a paper from the paper - so that the sheet for work is square.

We bend all four corners of the paper square strictly to the center. We should get a new square, smaller. Turn the product over to the other side. Repeat this action and again get a smaller square. And once again turning the product and folding its corners to the center, we get a smaller square.

Turning the product over to the other side, we see four folded to the center of the corner, which in turn are divided diagonally by the holes. Carefully and slowly begin to fold the model diagonally inwards, simultaneously opening two opposite angles to the outside. And now we have almost ready ship with an even, stable bottom! Only here in the middle, on the so-called deck, tight unopened squares stick out like small sails that make our boat look more like a boat than a steamer.

Of course, we can stop at this stage. But if we want to learn how to make a boat out of paper, a steamer with pipes, from which steam seems to burst out, then one more important action must be taken.
Look in the middle of the paper boat. Two double-layered squares with their corners rest against the center of the deck. They are diagonally separated by holes. And we begin to push these holes along the strip of separation, as if to open the "pipe". During this action, you should hold the entire model ready so that it does not lose shape. The ready open "pipe" should not be ironed, let it retain roundness, because the pipe can not be flat. In the same way we proceed with the second square.

Paper boat - decoration on the tree
And now let's talk about how to make a ship with your own hands from paper with scissors and glue so that they can decorate a Christmas tree or hang over a children's desk.

Such a toy-decoration can be made even by a very small child. Of course, adults will help him! First, you should apply a contour of the boat to a piece of paper and cut out two identical parts. Then you need to paint these patterns on opposite sides, so that when overlaid carpets overlap one another, they coincide with unpainted sides.
Particularly creative natures can also use the technique of applique to make the paper templates of the ship become brighter, and the toy more like a real boat.

In the middle of one of the details on the unpainted part of it we lay a very small piece of wool to create a volume. The edges around the cotton wool are spread with glue and we put a loop of threads on top so that the cut ends of the thread get on the glue, and the loop itself is outside. After the toy is ready, with this loop it will be easy for us to hang the ornament on a tree or carnations above the table.

If we are concerned with the question of how to make a ship out of paper, now we need to cover the entire structure with a second detail - a template so that on both sides we have a bright colored toy with a loop on top. If the baby did not turn out quite neatly, and in some places the details did not match, the adult needs to cut off the projecting corners using scissors. And believe me: even among the expensive glass toys bought in the store, this slightly lopsided unpretentious little boat for a kid will be the most beautiful and precious decoration for a long time!
