In order to keep the fruits as long as possible, tear them with a whole inflorescence. Dry the mountain ash in a dark and dry place, after which it is permissible to store in paper bags or tissue bags. Be sure to cover them tightly, otherwise berries of rowan will become prey to moths and midges.
