OPG "The Hive". The organized criminal group of Kazan, Haydar Zakirov

At the end of the last century, organized crime groups were established in all major cities of Russia, which kept the population of cities in fear. Kazan, being a fairly large city, was no exception. On its territory, one of the most ambitious and influential giants, the "Zhilka", was formed.

What is "Habit"?

For the indigenous inhabitants of the Republic of Tatarstan, the term "vein" is quite understandable. But for the rest it should be explained that there is such a micro-district Zhilploschadka (Kazan). Here, after the name of this area, the gang subsequently got its name.

In the days of the formation of the gang "Zhilka" in this neighborhood, mostly came from the villages and collective farms, who came to the city for a "better" life. The area was considered poor; Most of his population lived in wooden barracks.

It should be noted that the majority of active members of the future grouping, as well as the organizer and leader of the "Zhylka" group, Haidar Zakirov, were residents of the above-mentioned microdistrict. The living space to date is associated with the majority of the city's population with crime, lawlessness and danger.

History of creation

Grouping "Habit" was created not in the dashing 90s, like most criminal groups in Russia, but much earlier. The first mention of the gang dates back to the 70s of the last century.

Initially, the group "Zhilka" was formed on the basis of the brigade "Hayderovsky yard." The ancestor and the permanent authority of this gang was Haydar Zakirov nicknamed "Haider". He later became the leader of the "Zhilka" group.

The fact is that on the territory of the above-mentioned microdistrict there were about 30 small criminal gangs. All of them were engaged in petty thefts and other minor crimes. Haydar Zakirov realized that by uniting a number of small gangs around him, he could get one large-scale criminal gang.

For a short period of time, Zakirov attracted about 20 small groupings to the criminal activities of his gang Hayderovsky Dvor. As a result of this merger, a criminal group was formed, known as the "Habit".

Declared themselves

In the winter of 1984, the "Zhylka" OPG took part in the dismantling, connected with the division of the territory on the Swan Lake. The organizer of this "massacre" was Zakirov. During the disassembly, many participants of the "arrow" were taken to hospitals. And the instigator Khaydar Zakirov was taken to law enforcement bodies, where a criminal case was brought against him.

In the case, Zakirova was sentenced to 6 years in prison. However, the arrest of the leader of the organized crime group "Zhylka" not only did not shake the credibility of the gang, on the contrary: this criminal group was considered one of the most brutal in the territory of Kazan. Zakirov himself, through arrest, received recognition from the entire criminal world of the city.

While in custody, Haidar Zakirov continued to lead the gang's activities, determined the main directions and areas of development.

The first "victories"

Under the strict guidance of Zakirova in 1990, the Kazan plant "Orgsintez" passed under the criminal control of the gang. This was the first serious "victory" of the group. This enterprise was engaged in the production of polyethylene film and crumb and was quite profitable. The theft of finished goods and cash from the cash department of the plant helped the "Zhylka" OPG to put together a good "obshchak."

A year later, the group managed to "crush" the Kazan Helicopter Plant, and for some time "received a tribute" from the famous "AvtoVAZ".

After such "conquests" released to freedom Haidar Zakirov began to be considered recognized criminal authority of Kazan, and his gang "Zhilka" became the calling card of the underworld of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Called "Hyder"

Haydar Zakirov was born in a poor village family. After graduating from school, he did not receive any working specialty, since, in his opinion, he did not need a job. Already by that time Zakirov was clearly confident that he would earn big money not in the factory, but in a criminal way.

Indeed, Zakirov, as if from childhood, knew that he would be a criminal authority. He spent all his free time on sports: at any time of the year he could be met at the sports ground in his own yard. He was engaged in sports and from the youthful years was distinguished by special persistence and cruelty.

So, at the age of 13 he took part in a fight, during which he took out a knife and stabbed his rival. Fortunately, the wound was not deadly. But Zakirov after this incident began to be considered an authority among local punks.

The Haider Principles

"Hayder" from his youth was a principled guy. Clearly established rules and principles he carried through his whole life. Zakirov knew exactly what people should be in his criminal "team".

So, to his gang "Hyder" recruited fighters only sports and disciplined. In general, discipline and unquestioning obedience were the foundation on which the "Zhilka" organized crime group was built. Each fighter always had to carry a weapon (at least a knife or knuckle-brush). Liked the Zakirs to conduct so-called searches among their own, during which each member of the group had to show the weapons available to him. Those who found themselves without a knife, brass knuckle or other tools - were punished (most often public beatings).

Zakirov did not forgive his resentment. This principle, he literally implanted in the gang: "If you are offended, you can only wash the blame with blood". Maybe. Thanks to this principle, the "Zhylka" organized crime group quickly became one of the most violent and aggressive groups that existed in the dashing 90s in Russia.

"The initiative is punishable" is another principle that the members of the organized criminal group have learned since the formation of the group. Being an enterprising person, Haydar Zakirov did not tolerate when any member of the gang made any actions without permission. The excessive initiative of subordinates was also punished by Zakirov throughout the strictness of the underworld.

There is a case where one of the gang members killed a woman with a child without Zakirova's instructions. This case outraged the "Haider" to such an extent that he killed "disobedient" before the eyes of the rest of his "team".

New Horizons

By making OGG "Zhylka" a powerful and influential group, Haydar Zakirov himself won the prestige and recognition of the criminal world of Kazan. However, being a quick-tempered man, aggressive and arrogant - "Hayder" made many enemies in his native Tatarstan.

Excessive activity Zakirova began to interfere with many criminal elements of Kazan, so he increasingly began to think about moving to another city. In addition, Haydar believed that his gang should expand the horizons.

In 1992, "Haider" decided to move to St. Petersburg. It is worth saying that the organized criminal groups of the Russian Federation have always differed in that they tried to seize new territories. This fate befell almost all the large-scale gangs of that time. Therefore, it was not surprising that the "Zhilka" organized crime group settled in St. Petersburg.

"Habit" in St. Petersburg

Naturally, the entire group "Zhilka" in St. Petersburg could not move. Most of the members of the gang stayed in Kazan, and under the strict guidance of Zakirova continued to keep the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan at bay.

In St. Petersburg, "Haider" in a short period of time had time to increase the composition of the St. Petersburg "Zhilki", "pulling" in it immigrants from Tatarstan. Having gained power, the OPG stood in line with such large-scale and influential groups of St. Petersburg as the Velikie Luki and Tambov.

Literally for two years, Zakirov and his "team" cleaned up the entire Nevsky Prospect (with all the shops, businesses, restaurants and offices) to their hands. Has got "Zhilka" and excellent communications in the capital, cities of the Volga region.

They are stepping on their heels

While engaged in the expansion and development of his gang, Haydar Zakirov did not notice that among the members of the group there was growing dissatisfaction, caused by the tough and quick temper of the leader.

In 1994, the former warden of the "Haider" Radik Yusupov (aka Dragon) became the leader of the Moscow branch "Zhilki". Standing at the helm, Yusupov announced to Zakirov a real war. Upon learning of this, Haider made an immediate decision to eliminate the "infidel".

After this, the gang broke up and a series of high-profile murders: the Moscow "Zhilka" was not going to surrender its positions and with all its might got involved in the "war" among its own. The first blow was struck at the nearest friend and right hand of the "Haider" - Radik Khusnutdinov: he was killed. Right after that the Moscow "Zhilka" eliminated the most active members of the gang and associates of Zakirov.

In the fall of 1995, the first attempt was made on Haidar himself. Zakirov and 4 other members of the gang drove in the elevator, and at the moment when the doors burst open, they were opened automatic rounds. Three of them were killed, and the "Haider" with the heaviest wounds was taken to the intensive care unit.

Later, on the windows of the chamber, in which Zakirov was recovering after the operation, a grenade launcher was opened. However, even then the "Haider" miraculously managed to survive.

Six months later, a new assassination attempt was committed on Zakirov, as a result of which he and two of his subordinates were shot at point-blank range.

Fights without rules

The death of the "Haider" gave a new impetus to the war between the members of the "Zhilka". Each aspired to take the lead in the gang. All applicants for the specified "post" died one after another. Once close to Zakirov - Islam Galimzyanov, Victor Mikhailov, Alexander Navalov - were the main contenders for the leader's place, so they were killed in the first place.

Internal disassembly also affected the OPG itself: the lack of cohesion and discipline weakened the position of the gang, as a result of which it lost its former power and influence. Soon, "Life" and did fall apart into several separate small groupings, which had no significance in the criminal world.

A series of high-profile murders preceded the fact that the entire group fell into the sight of law enforcement agencies, followed by mass arrests of members of the gang.

OPG Zhilka (Kazan). History of the fall

In 2001, "Zhilka" made the last desperate attempt to regain its former influence: the gang members tried to take control of a large car salon in Tatarstan. This operation was led by Irek Sirazov. OPG "Habit" by that time did not have a permanent leader, so Sirazov, being a criminal authority with a rich criminal past, assumed this responsibility.

The attempt was unsuccessful: almost all the Kazan "Zhilka" was in the hands of law enforcement agencies. Mass arrests of members of the gang led to self-liquidation of the group.

The investigators managed to prove the involvement of the gang members in committing more than 25 murders and a large number of other serious crimes.

Irek Sirazov, and with him several other leaders of the gang, managed to leave Kazan and were declared a federal wanted list.

By the way, Sirazov was caught in 2007, and in 2008 he was charged with murder, banditry and organization of the criminal community. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

200 years of imprisonment

16 active members of the Zhilka OPG received a total of 200 years of imprisonment for all. One of the leaders of the gang, Yuri Marukhin, was sentenced to life imprisonment.

In addition, many members of the group in 2001 were killed by competitors. Almost all the regular killers of the gang were liquidated. In this regard, part of the murders (including those ordered) committed by the Zhilka group were not proved by the investigators.

The criminal case against OGG "Zhylka" consisted of 100 volumes. The hearing lasted more than a year. The fate of the gang members was decided by the jury, who found their guilt completely proven.

Instead of concluding

In the 90 years of the last century, Russia was swept by crime. Kazan was no exception: in the city was created OPG "Habit", which eventually became one of the most large-scale, influential and brutal gangs of Russia.

Having existed for more than 30 years, the grouping, after the assassination of the permanent leader Khaydar Zakirov, split into several independent criminal groups that started an internal war.

As a result, the once powerful OPG lost its positions and authority in a short period of time. And after the gang was closely engaged in law enforcement agencies, members of the group (which did not have time to arrest) hid in other cities and countries.
