In this article we will talk about the product of pulp and paper production, namely - mica paper and its varieties. Speaking about "varieties", we should mention the main areas of its use, namely, the main grades of this paper (in accordance with TU 5433-001-74856981-2011 - "Mical-grade paper for various purposes"): restoration (BM R), filter (BM F), electrical insulation (BM E), conservation (BM K). The names speak for themselves (and why reinvent the wheel? :)), i.e. There is an approximate picture of where and how this paper can be applied, even without having to do with this field of activity. Of course, when you are engaged in the supply of raw materials and materials for more than a decade, there can be no questions, but these questions can arise from a person who is ignorant, so to speak, in this matter. Often in life, we face the need for this or that material, in everyday life, in work, perhaps even in your hobby, and it is insulting if we simply do not know about the existence of an easy and obvious solution

So, the restoration paper (it is also long-fiber, equally strong) is made from the fibers of the bark of the mulberry tree (we will not cover the details of the production, it is useless in this publication) and is used in the restoration of lost parts of documents, works of art, from the same area - For laying museum exhibits (for example, during transportation), making petroglyphs. This grade of paper is in demand in museums, storages and workshops. We, for certain, do not pay attention, but, at opening of any exhibition, gallery, etc. Exhibits are brought, wrapped up in this same paper. A very similar brand - conservation paper is used in the same field, but already for conservation, i.e. Long-term storage of artifacts and archival documents.

The brands of mica paper BM F and BM E are already used in more "technical" branches. Electrical insulation paper is used in the manufacture of "motor" products - transformers, inductors , etc., and also serves for the manufacture of mica (hence, however, its name). The necessary properties are achieved by cleaning the fibers, removing foreign components (especially - metal) to reduce electrical conductivity and increase resistance to external influences. Similarly, with filter paper - the brand BMF is used to make strong bags for loose materials, as well as bags for silica gel. It is due to the same qualities - strength, wear resistance and environmental friendliness of components (made of manila hemp fibers with wood pulp), which determines its application for bulk chemical materials.
