The enterprise should reach its designed capacity in 2018, the planned financial turnover of the funds will approximately amount to 8 to 10 billion rubles a year. The main activities are mechanical engineering, shipbuilding. Since 2015, the company has begun production of defense ships of the Karakurt project, which are armed with cruise missiles of the Caliber class.

Implementation of plans

The new shipyard "Pella" is active. In 2016, within the framework of the PPS Strategic Initiatives Forum, Pella introduced several new projects and upgraded serial products. The greatest interest was caused by a fishing vessel and a multi-purpose rescue tug. The response received the project of a new shipbuilding complex of the company, as well as the concept-development of a series of fishing vessels (freezing trawler, trawler-processor, crab-boat, etc.).

At the end of July 2016, the company completed the laying of the third Shkval missile ship of small displacement, it is intended for the Russian Navy. Within the framework of this cooperation, it is planned to produce a universal marine tanker and technical vessel of project 23120M (kilector). According to some media reports, the construction of these facilities will take place at the company's foreign shipyards (Hamburg, a subsidiary of Pella Sietas GmbH).

In September 2016, the company laid down a new oceanographic research vessel "Akademik Ageev", and several serial tugs were also launched, which received home ports and owners. All vessels pass the appropriate certification and classification of domestic / foreign companies.

Crimean expansion

The Crimean shipbuilding yards for a long time remained without adequate support and today badly need investments. According to some reports, the shipyard "Pella" claimed to be able to reorganize and make investments in the plant "Sea" (Feodosia). The decision to invest was due to the implementation by the Feodosia company of a military defense order for the construction of vessels of the same class that Pella produces.

Against the deal, the trade union of the workers of the Moret plant, wishing to retain state ownership, came up with information about the transfer of the enterprise under the jurisdiction of the subsidiary company Pella. However, the parties reached certain agreements. Details of the details are not yet available, but the initial stage of reconstruction of Feodosia shipyard is already under way. The plans include dredging activities in the bay, repair of production facilities and other restoration work. The reconstruction plan is planned until 2020.
