Officially the development of airliners Boeing 757 began in August 1978. Airliner Boeing 757-200 was developed by the American company Boeing instead of the model of the Boeing 727. The new aircraft were intended for operation on domestic routes, as well as on international flights between the United States and Europe.

The model of the 160-seat airliner Boeing 757-100 did not develop further, so the company began developing new airliners. As engines, engines such as JT10D-4 and RB211-535 were used. In the first variant, a model of aircraft with a take-off weight of up to 99.8 tons was certified, which was then increased to 115.6 tons during upgrades. The latest models were equipped with powerful turbojet engines of dual-circuit type.

The main feature of the Boeing 757 was the simultaneous development of the model of the 767 wide-body liner, which was also considered as a highly economical model of the new aircraft. Boeing used a single airborne and electronic system, as well as a common cockpit for the crew.

Today, this type of aircraft is considered the best project of the company and is widely used by a large number of carriers. Production of the Boeing 757-200 was completed in 2004. In total, 1050 models of this type of aircraft were produced. When constructing the design, advanced technologies were used, mainly used for efficient fuel consumption, creating a low noise level and providing increased comfort and high performance characteristics of the equipment.

The Boeing 757-200 is in operation since 1983 and continues to be operated by many airlines and currently on air routes with distances up to 3000-7000 km. In comparison with similar models, the aircraft is manufactured with an increased total number of passenger seats. Boeing 757-200, whose photo allows you to see the cabin of the aircraft, is distinguished for its safety and comfortable conditions for passengers. The aircraft has a capacity of more than 200 people and is used mainly on busy air routes. The maximum speed of the airliner is 860 km / h with a maximum passenger capacity of up to 228 passengers.

Airliner Boeing 757-200, the layout of which depends on the chosen layout, has in the passenger compartment from 186 to 279 seats. In the passenger compartment there are departments of two classes: business class and economy class. In the business class can accommodate up to twenty seats with folding backs.

The design of the aircraft is based on a monoplane scheme with two engines mounted on pylons under the wing. The fuselage of Boeing 757-200 is made according to the semi-monocoque scheme. The chassis of the aircraft is created on the basis of three supports, the main ones in which are the rear ones. In addition to the passenger modification, the cargo version of the 757-200PF is also produced. This model carries out the transportation of goods weighing up to 38 tons. The aircraft of this type is distinguished by a characteristic feature, which is the presence of a side door.
