Boeing 777-300 - roomy aircraft for long flights

Despite the fact that Boeing aircraft from the 747 series are successfully used to this day, a well-known company engaged in their production, has begun research on the creation of better and modern aircraft. In the end, in 1994, the first airplane of the model 777-300 was launched into the air. Unlike the earlier Boeing airliners, it is large in size, and also capable of making a much more significant route without refueling.

The immediate basis for the creation of this aircraft was the model 777-200. From it, the Boeing 777-300 features an elongated fuselage at 10.3 m, and also the presence of additional cameras. The first modification significantly strengthened the fuselage itself, as well as the tail support and the chassis. As for additional video cameras, they are needed here to help pilots in the process of maneuvering directly at the airport.

The Boeing 777-300 is capable of carrying about 550 passengers on board. However, this becomes possible only if there is only one economy class. If the aircraft has 2 classes, the number of passenger seats is reduced to 479. In the same case, when the liner includes the seats of 3 classes, the maximum number of passengers is 386. In the economy class, seats in most of the cabin are installed in 11 Series by the formula 3 + 5 + 3. As for the business class, here the seats are located in 9 rows (3 + 3 + 3). In the first class, the seats are installed in 6 rows (2 + 2 + 2). For a full-fledged control of the liner, it is necessary that the crew consist of two pilots.

The airplane Boeing 777-300 is quite large. Its length is 73.86 m and its height is 18.51 m. The diameter of the fuselage is 6.1 m. The wingspan of this Boeing model is 60.93 m, and their total area is 427.8 m.

An empty airplane of this type weighs 160 tons. However, it is able to rise into the air even if its mass is increased to 263 tons.

Without any refueling, this airliner is able to fly 11,029 km. At the same time, its cruising speed is equal to 893 km / h. It can rise to the air at a height of 13 100 m. This aircraft is equipped with various engine options: PW4098, General Electric GE90-92B, and Rolls Royce Trent 892.

Based on Boeing 777-300, developers from the company have already managed to create quite an interesting and high-quality modification. This aircraft differs from its "progenitor" by several parameters at once. It's about Boeing 777-300 ER. First, it has a slightly more spacious interior. Secondly, in this airliner the basic functionality is increased, and it is able to fly even further than the model 777-300. At the same time, the safety of flights only increased. Third, the new model has improved ends of the wings. In addition, in the modification, instead of General Electric GE90-92 engine, there is a more modern power unit - General Electric GE90-115B.

To date, the Boeing 777-300, together with its advanced version, is the most capacious airliner that can fly long distances. Despite the fact that it carries a large number of passenger seats on its board, it's surprisingly easy to move around the cabin of this aircraft, even if it's a matter of economy class. The interior design of the interior is quite good. It uses quiet, uniform lighting, which favors a complete rest.
