Internal hemorrhoids: etiology, clinic and therapy

The most common disease is considered internal hemorrhoids, its symptoms are noted in 50 percent of the world's population. As a rule, signs of hemorrhoids appear after 30 years. Statistics show that representatives of the weaker sex are sick less often than men. Most people, even if the first symptoms of this ailment are discovered, are slow to turn to specialists and are engaged in self-treatment, making a huge mistake, because even doctors of sciences can not establish the exact cause that triggered the development of this disease.

Internal hemorrhoids: etiology

To the contributing factors that can cause the disease include constipation, age over thirty, heredity, frequent enemas and the use of laxative teas, pain during defecation, pregnancy. Many people think, what can cause hemorrhoids external? Promoting factors include congenital weakness of the venous wall, defecation accompanied by prolonged straining or waiting, pregnancy (especially repeated), low-activity lifestyle, exercise, frequent constipation, alcohol abuse, meat dishes and spicy food. These factors contribute to the overflow of veins of the pelvis and the perineum with blood, which, in turn, provokes stretching and protrusion of the tissues.

Internal hemorrhoids: symptoms

This disease manifests itself in two forms: uncomplicated and complicated. The first is characterized by a feeling of discomfort, itching, unpleasant sensations in the anus zone, sometimes there are streaks of blood in the stool during defecation. The clinic is weakly expressed, most often manifested in violation of diet.

Complicated hemorrhoids are manifested in the form of inflammation of the hemorrhoids, their thrombosis and bleeding.

If you are diagnosed with "internal hemorrhoids" treatment, depends more on the etiology and complexity of the disease. For some patients it will be enough to keep to a diet and lead a healthy lifestyle. In the formation of hemorrhoids with bleeding and prolapse from the anus of the flesh, treatment must be carried out on an outpatient basis.

If you have found internal hemorrhoids, treatment should be started immediately. Internal hemorrhoids are treated in several ways. The most common method of therapy is the ligation of hemorrhoids by special latex rings. These rings stop the blood flow to the hemorrhoidal node, after a few days, it is necrotic and disappears. In its place, a wound appears, which heals within two weeks. It should be noted that this procedure is completely painless.

Sclerotherapy is also a fairly common method of treatment. This method, as a rule, is used for hemorrhoids, accompanied by blood secretions. In this case, the hemorrhoidal nodes do not fall out of the anus.

Removal of the hemorrhoids is called hemorrhoidectomy. During this surgery, tissue that causes bleeding and prolapse of the nodes is removed. Hemorrhoidectomy is performed under local anesthesia or anesthesia. The specified operation can be carried out and out-patient.

Of course, today other methods of treatment of this pathology are known. Such methods include bipolar coagulation (used in surgical operations) and cryotherapy (cold treatment). Several decades ago, cryotherapy was a popular method for treating hemorrhoids. During the treatment, the nodes were frozen, this procedure is very painful. In the process of bipolar coagulation, the tissues of the node were destroyed by an electric current. The given method has not received special distribution.
