Charitable foundation "Aureya" - real help or fraud?

Today, to provide assistance to a person who needs it is a sacred mission of each of us. In our country there is a huge number of disabled people, old people, seriously ill people who can not rely on anyone in principle. And in this regard, Russia's charitable foundations are specially created to solve this problem. They seek and collect money to provide specific targeted assistance. But the above organizations do this solely on a non-reimbursable basis, because the meaning of charity is to help unselfishly the sufferers. However, not everyone understands the true meaning of the word "charity." In the market there were fraudulent structures, which under the plausible pretext simply profit from ordinary people who are often ready to give the last to help a person. And, according to the testimonies, one of the representatives of such "unscrupulous" organizations is the charitable foundation "Aureya".

His business reputation was seriously damp, and there are reasons for that.

What is this structure?

It is known that the charitable foundation "Aureya" (head office) is located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where it is registered. This non-profit structure began operations in 2006. "Aureya" positions itself as a charitable company and acts with pathetic slogans: "We want to change the world! Our goal is to help everyone in need! Priority in our work is children who are in trouble! "Well, who against such good goals and beginnings?

The fact is obvious

But it is embarrassing that the Aureya charitable foundation is officially established in the Krasnoyarsk region, provides assistance to people with disabilities from St. Petersburg, and collects funds in Saratov.

Today working fund activists can be found in various geographical locations in Russia. Of course, the law does not prohibit the registration of a company in one region and work in another. But for this it is necessary to follow the procedure - to open an official representation and register it with the relevant body. Just here the Aureya charitable foundation violates legal norms, since it does not open legal branches in the regions.

The capital of the Southern Federal District

Not so long ago activists of the charitable organization appeared in Rostov-on-Don. Young boys and girls dressed in yellow overcoats and "armed" with small boxes for money chatted with passers-by and asked them not to remain indifferent to those who need help. But, as it turned out, in practice it is difficult enough to find out whether the money will go for a good cause or settle in the pockets of dishonest businessmen.

Checking

Naturally, the activists of the organization quickly came to the attention of the local press.

Law enforcement officers and volunteers of the political discussion club "Glavpolit" got involved. They all were interested in the question: "Does the legal foundation" Aureya "(Rostov-on-Don) work on legitimate grounds?" A check was carried out and it turned out that the young workers of the non-profit organization did not reach the age of majority, which in itself is a violation of the Labor Code. And for their work they received 20% of the collected funds, and their "bosses" immediately warned that they should call themselves volunteers and tell others that they are working at no cost.

Many questions were raised by the office, which was filmed by Aurei in the capital of the Southern Federal District. Its premise was very remotely resembling a branch of a charitable organization: in a corner a pile of boxes was piled up, where money was accumulated, and publicly. In "normal" funds, money is spent on encashment, finances in boxes are considered in the presence of the commission, and then they are transferred to the fund's cash department. But no one was going to follow the accounting procedures in Aurey.

All violations were reported to the prosecutor's office, which began a thorough check of the above-mentioned charity fund.

City on the Neva

Public outcry was also triggered by the emergence of activists from a non-profit organization in the northern capital. There was even organized a round table "Problems of counteracting fraud in the sphere of charity." He was initiated by the fund "Good Peter". Its representatives made a report, where the results of the fraudulent structure were reported. On the Internet portal "Aurei" in the column "Reports" you can see information that the stock has ended, it was possible to collect more than 900 thousand rubles. However, who is directly involved in the collection of funds, for what purposes they were spent, what medical facilities and whom they treated - is not indicated.

"Aureya" - a charitable foundation (St. Petersburg) became the object of attention and by law enforcement agencies.

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city on the Neva was seriously concerned that fraudsters use the work of minors for their own gain. Representatives of the law enforcement agency wrote a letter to the mayor's office, so that officials connected to the problem.

Ural

The fact that "Aureya" - a charity fund, fraud in which flourishes day by day, learned "shark pen" from Ekaterinburg. To bring criminals to clean water, they conducted their own independent investigation. They found out that almost three-quarters of the funds collected by the fund's management are spent on taxes, salaries for employees (naturally, not ordinary employees). But the Yekaterinburg Internet resource managed to find out the true meaning of the work of "Aurei". After reading the tempting advertisement of the fund, mothers and dads of seriously ill children begin to collect for scammers a certain package of documents, which includes contact information, diagnosis of the patient and accompanying medical documents. Then the parents wait for the promised money. And in fact, in some cases they wait for them, the long-awaited operation is done.

But the essence is different: scammers continue to collect money for a child who has already been assisted.

Penza

In Penza also heard about what methods in the work uses "Aureya" - a charitable foundation. Reviews about this non-profit structure are mostly impartial and negative. Employees of the fraudulent organization have been working in this hilly city for several years already, and they have already covered almost all areas. At first, residents reacted with understanding to the work of young activists (which can be more noble than helping seriously ill children). But after a while, the public began to have doubts about whether activists really do a good deed. Does the Aureya Charitable Foundation (Penza) work legally? Oleg Sharipkov (executive director of the regional public charitable foundation "Civil Union") was one of the first to ask these questions. He became aware that the organization, registered in a small village of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, does not have an official representation in his native Penza.

All the work ...

In addition, Oleg confused another fact, which was already mentioned above. Why does the employer in the person of "Aurei" employ people who are under 18 years of age? No charitable foundations of Russia use this practice, which is a priori illegal.

Sharipkova is also confused by the fact that his grief-"colleagues" avoid talking to media representatives and literally avoiding video cameras. This behavior, to put it mildly, seems strange. What are you hiding and what are you afraid of if you are doing a good deed? On the contrary, the activist should be visible to attract the maximum attention to the mission he performs. Yet one young man who works at Aurey uncovered some secrets about his work. In particular, he said that he paid money at the end of each shift, which lasts 3-4 hours. On the day the activist earns about 250-300 rubles. If you take only one Penza, then in the city employs about 30 volunteers.

A rhetorical question

Despite all the problems of the situation, it turned out that the charitable foundation "Aureya" in exceptional cases does help people. In particular, children suffering from epilepsy and patients with cerebral palsy received financial assistance for treatment. And even when one of the boys urgently needed a wheelchair, it was acquired by activists of "Aurei". Hence, the leadership of this charitable fund still had a drop of conscience. But this does not absolve him of all responsibility. Only a small part of the collected money is spent on good deeds. And where are the others spent? Assuming it is easy enough.
