Installation of heating radiators is a fairly responsible and important measure, the welfare of the outcome of which directly depends on how accurately it will be produced. This procedure should be well prepared.
The installation of radiators is carried out using a certain set of tools. A dynamometric wrench of the required size will be required, as many joints of the heating system require the strictest observance of the torque torque. In the event that the connection is not sufficiently tight, because of the high pressure in the system, streaks can form, otherwise you can break the thread, which leads to the same results. The parts of the device must be accompanied by instructions in which all the dynamometric moments are indicated.
Installation of heating radiators, the scheme of which has already been compiled, can be done only after the water is blocked in the system. It is necessary to plan the connection scheme in advance, after which to select all the necessary details. Their appearance and quantity are determined by the circuit and the specific type of radiator.
Separating each individual radiator requires cranes or shut-off valves, which will allow the product to be disconnected for repair work. Single-pipe heating systems require the presence of a bypass, that is, a bypass for the coolant, since otherwise the entire riser heating system will be paralyzed if the valve is shut off. An important detail is the driveline, which is screwed on the bushing, screwed inside the radiator.
It is important to take into account that the installation of radiators in an apartment or house is carried out under a certain bias. If the devices are mounted horizontally, air will be uniformly accumulated in them, which must be blown out by means of a special valve. If this procedure is not followed, the power level of the radiators will gradually decrease. In apartments it is appropriate to use only metal pipes, and in houses where the pressure in the system is much lower, you can use metal-plastic pipes. When the installation of the radiators is completed, it is possible to pressurize. Before this, do not remove the packaging film from the device.
If we talk about cast-iron radiators, then before working with them, it is necessary to perform certain operations. Before starting work, the device must be unscrewed, screwed in nipples, and then reassembled. Usually this is done on a workbench using two radiator keys. They are inserted into nipple holes. The lower and upper nipples are simultaneously unfolded, which avoids skewing. After the extreme section has been removed, it is necessary to unfold all the other sections. Next, the grouping is carried out, it is done in the reverse order. The next step is crimping, which allows you to get the assembled device ready for use. After that it is allowed to install radiators.
