How to weave a network. Instructions

All those who are fond of fishing, understand perfectly well that the availability of good fishing tackle is half the successful catch. You can, of course, catch on the spinnings and fishing rods, but the catch significantly increases when using the grid. It can be purchased in various specialized stores and stalls, and you can weave yourself. The independent production of fishing nets is, of course, a very dreary and laborious work, but it has the great advantage that the final result will fully meet all your requirements and wishes. Many novice fishermen are interested in how to weave a net. In this material, we will consider in detail how to do this.

So, the production of fishing nets from you will require simple sewing threads of varying thickness and color, as well as twisted kapron threads and veins having a different cross-section. A prerequisite - the thread can not be untwisted, otherwise the shape of the cell of our gear will be damaged. The strength and accuracy of the networks will depend on how thin and strong the chosen threads from the capron will be. And, of course, they should normally endure a long stay in the water.

You will also need to take care of such special tools as the template and the shuttle. All these devices you can make yourself, when you understand what they are and what they are for. The template is a rectangular tablet. It is she who will determine the size of the cell. The length of this rectangle should be from 10 to 15 cm, while the width should be equal to the desired width of the cells of the network. It can be 30, 40 or 50 mm. But the shuttle can be made from some dense material, for example, wood, plastic or metal. If the mating is from thin threads, then you will need a small shuttle, whose width is 2 cm, and the length is from 15 to 20 cm.

Let's move on to how to weave the net. Its nodes are of different types. Let's look at a single node. You need to throw a nylon thread, the length of which will be from 10 to 20 m, on the made shuttle and tie a loop at the end of the thread. The assembly must be tightened tightly.

Now you will need to hammer an ordinary nail into a reliable surface, such as a tree or a wall, so that it is at the level of your eyes when you are sitting on something. Now we put a loop on it, which you made on the end of the thread, and tie the knot.

Now go directly to how to weave the net. We have the following: on one side of the nail a hinge hangs, and on the other hand a nylon thread descends, which will go to the shuttle. Next, we take the shuttle with your right hand, and keep our template with the left one. At the last we lay the thread that goes to the shuttle from the nail, and lower it down behind the template so that the thread bends over the rear end. Now enter the tip of the shuttle from the bottom up into the loop and drag through it.

At the next stage, we pull the shuttle back to ourselves, while the loop should gradually be attracted to the leading edge of the template. After the thread has been laid on it for the third time, press it with the thumb of the left hand, thus forming the next loop around the template.

Now we tie a new loop to the first way of threading the thread that comes from the template. It is done in a circular motion with your right hand from under your thumb to our first loop to the shuttle. Further we lower the shuttle on the right edge of the initial loop down, we pass the end from the bottom to the top between the beginning of the second loop and the left thread of the first.

Then the shuttle stretches out and stretches back, while the template is held by the left hand. After that, pull the thread back to the moment when the thread that was put on the first loop does not appear outward, and the knot between the index finger and the big one on the left hand will not tighten.

It remains only to strongly tighten the node, reset the second node from the template from left to right and connect the third loop. Continue all these manipulations until the tackle is ready. Now you know how to weave a net.
