Borders of Ukraine

In the north and north-west of the Ukrainian border, some states (Russia, Belarus, Poland) pass through lowlands and wetlands. Regions of Ukraine

Scientists and historians divide Ukraine into 15 regions. Some of them live richly, some are poor. But they are all part of a great and mighty power. The territory of Ukraine is divided into two parts: Eastern and Western. Each of them is divided into several more territories:

Chernihiv region

The north of the Kiev region is located on the Polesie lowland, the eastern part - on Pridneprovskaya, the south and the center of the district - on the Dnieper Upland. It has permanent valleys of rivers, ravines and cliffs.

Pridneprovie

Priazovye

It is the center of metallurgy in Ukraine. Thanks to Mariupol, in which several plants are built, it is in Priazovye that more than one-third of all Ukrainian steel, cast iron, coke, pipes, etc. are produced.

Sufficiently developed in this area can be called transport. There are three sea ports: Mariupol, Taganrog, Berdyansk. The agrarian sector, the food industry and fishing are well developed and supported by the government.

Donbass

Donbass is a region that arose long ago and still leaves its traditions, customs and way of life unchanged. The fifth in the rating "How Ukraine is divided" by its area. It includes the Donetsk region and the south of Lugansk.

The Donbass was originally a technically advanced part of the state. The Donetsk Coal Basin was discovered by scientists in 1720, and since then it has been mastered. It occupies about 60 thousand km. The coal reserves here are quite large. At a depth of up to 1,700 m, deposits totaling 140 million tons were found.

Due to the fact that the Lugansk region and Donetsk closely communicated with each other, they made compromises, sought common interests, and they were unofficially united into a region called Donbass. The citizens of Ukraine noticed that in addition to the goals, these two regions have roughly the same economic sphere, historical and cultural.

For several decades now it has been the largest center of the coal industry and metallurgy (both color and black).

The border between Russia and Ukraine. Relations between countries

In Europe, there are few neighboring countries that can boast of a long history, nations, as well as mutual interests, economic characteristics and other issues that unite these two countries - Ukraine and Russia. The second part of those who voted (28%) spoke in favor of the fact that the regions of Ukraine, like the government of the whole country, will have good relations with the Federation. The rest (9%) voted for the deterioration of all ties between the two states. In this survey, just over six hundred people participated, the most believing in the bright future it seemed that good relations would be maintained for at least a century. People who were less than 45 years old, voiced a forecast, more built on caution.

Now there is a major conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, but it is necessary to believe that soon all disagreements will disappear.

The Russian border with Ukraine exists since 1991. The dispute between the countries because of the Crimean peninsula is considered incomplete. Throughout the perimeter, guards have been built, barricades and artificial columns have been installed.
