Staphylococcus: symptoms and diseases caused by infection

Staphylococcus is a common, bacterial- induced infection that can be found in the environment. Ideal places for the reproduction of staphylococcus are moist and warm corners, which are protected from sunlight. The population of bacteria can reach large sizes in the absence of harvesting and disinfection.

Usually staphylococcus, the symptoms of which are possible in various manifestations, rarely settles in a human house, which regularly produces a wet cleaning using detergents of household chemicals. Often bacteria are found in technical buildings that have access to moisture: aboveground heat pipes, boiler rooms, poorly cleaned storage facilities, etc.

Staphylococcal infection can persist for a long time in water, air and soil. It is found on the skin of animals and humans. In the normal state of the skin, bacteria can not penetrate the body, the more the risk of infection decreases with washing hands. But, in the presence of cuts or wounds, and also with the use of infected food, staphylococcus enters the organs.

Inside animals and humans, there may be whole colonies of microorganisms, like a bunch of small balls or a bunch of bush bush densely bred with berries. These accumulations create staphylococcus aureus. Symptoms of diseases caused by an infection are similar to an ordinary cold. They are manifested in fever, malaise, metabolic disorders and sleep. A small number of bacteria appear in the blood, which are recognized at an early stage by analyzing special blood samples.

Staphylococcus, whose symptoms are pronounced, is very difficult to treat. When lesions with bacteria, sulfonamide drugs and antibiotics are used. After analyzing susceptibility to antibiotics, doctors prescribe comprehensive measures to counteract infection.

Because of the high ability of staphylococcus to develop resistance to antibacterial agents in treatment, it is impossible to interrupt the course of taking medications. If this situation arises, not all bacteria perish. Survivors of staphylococci become resistant (resistant) to antibiotics. Thus, with each subsequent mutation of staphylococcus, the symptoms of which acquire a new character, it has an increased ability to survive.

Today, dermatovenereologists are sounding the alarm: the number of staphylococcal infections is constantly increasing, and the result is an increased number of fatalities caused by bacteria. And it may happen that over time a new type of staphylococcus, resistant to any antibiotic, will form.

A variety of dangerous bacteria is the Staphylococcus aureus. Symptoms of infection are the formation of purulent processes. Bacteria of this species are imperceptible and easily spread by the human body, and cause sudden diseases: heart valve lesions, otitis media, mastitis and pneumonia. Poisons of Staphylococcus aureus provoke a toxic shock in women during menstruation, as well as severe food poisoning.

If the disease caused staphylococcus, symptoms in adults can manifest itself in the form of suppuration of the skin and subcutaneous tissues, as well as diseases of the nervous system.

In children, staphylococcus most often causes a rash, upset stomach and intestinal tract, flatulence and abdominal pain. In a young organism, the inflammatory processes caused by infection develop very rapidly. Very dangerous bacteria for newborns, who are vulnerable to this scourge. Pustules on the skin, intestinal colic in infants are direct evidence of staphylococcus aureus.
