"Warm angle": connection methods, their features and advantages

Today, many city dwellers dream about a country house, and if it becomes possible to acquire real estate outside the city, then usually the most harmless natural material is used for its construction - a bar. But in order for the housing to be warm and comfortable, you need to know the specifics of working with this material, in particular the manufacture of corners. If this operation is not performed correctly, the building will freeze in winter, the wind will penetrate into it, and as a result, the walls will freeze.

To exclude all these and many other troubles, there is a special mix of individual elements on the corners of the house, which is called the "warm corner". This is the name of the method by which the bar is filed. Due to the peculiarities of its manufacture and subsequent connection, there are no cut-through slots. There is not one kind of connection "warm corner", and further about each of them in more detail.

Straight spine

It is usually used in the construction of buildings of small dimensions, in which the length of the wall and the beam are the same. The connection is sufficiently reliable and can withstand all loads for a long time. Importantly, during shrinkage, the load is distributed equally over the entire surface of the joint, which keeps its weak part intact.

There are several rules that must be observed when manufacturing spike and groove elements. The size of a spike long or wide should not be, because its size affects the dimensions of the groove element. If the spike is thick, then the groove element must be made accordingly wider. Because of this, the weak spot of the beam on which the groove is located becomes vulnerable.

Half of the swallowtail

Features of manufacture - zapilivanie a thorn of the cone form. The warm angle of the timber house of this type has a similar connection with a straight connection, but it is distinguished by its high strength. This is because a saw in the form of a cone does not allow the separation of the bars, and they are securely held in place. This version of the connection can be used during the construction of structures with a wall that exceeds the length of the beam.

The complexity of the above docking methods is the same: you can use the "warm corner" template or do without it. Even experienced professionals are unlikely to find differences in their performance.

The width of the spine "dovetail" should be about 5. If it is wider, shrinkage will occur unevenly and cracks will appear in the beam where the groove is located.

Corner spike

A special feature of the technology is the manufacture of a triangular-shaped spike. The warm angle of the timber house has the following advantages:

  1. Absence of cracks.
  2. Full tightness.
  3. Simplicity of manufacture, is similar to both methods described above.

Unfortunately, this method is not popular, because it has less strength than the dovetail connecting version.

All described methods have almost identical indicators of heat conservation, but the strength is led by the method "half of the tail of a swallow".

Connection "in the paw"

In another way, this option is called "half a tree". Due to the presence of a through slot, this option is not recommended for use in the manufacture of building walls. Ability to use: the creation of the top harness and the first vinza - it is quite acceptable for these places, because it is considered the most practical.

When building houses from a bar, experienced professionals act in this way. The first and the last faults are connected by a "half-way" method, and the "warm angle" method is used for the rest of the building. Thanks to this, the connection is very durable.

Connection Advantages

  1. You can use for construction of buildings of any purpose - for housing, baths, farm buildings.
  2. The closed method provides protection against weather troubles.
  3. Due to the lack of drafts in the house, comfort conditions are always preserved.
  4. Simplicity of zapilivaniya allows you to quickly build buildings of any size.
  5. The material is spent sparingly.
  6. With precise marking and qualitative execution of the cutting of the shape of the grooves (observance of the accuracy of geometric shapes), the elements will be joined very tightly, providing an extremely reliable monolithic structure.
  7. Since the "warm angle" method does not foresee the use of additional fasteners, construction costs are significantly reduced, and the design itself is easy to manufacture.
  8. Since the preparation of materials occurs in advance, the construction process itself takes place quickly, without loss of quality indicators.
  9. What is important, the finished design is aesthetically pleasing and looks neat, so the house does not need an additional exterior finish, which also saves money.

disadvantages

The only disadvantage of docking is the "warm angle" from the profiled bar - the possibility of cracks on the element where the groove is made. This happens when the work is performed poorly. To avoid this, it is necessary to specify when creating an order, how the connection will be made and whether the team has experience of such construction work.
