Hot water bottle on the kettle from improvised materials

Without such an adaptation it will not be possible to prepare a fragrant drink. And the kitchen becomes much more comfortable with such decorative details. If you are engaged in needlework, and at home there are a variety of scraps and cuts of fabric, then it is not difficult to make a beautiful kitchen set.

A set of potholders and a hot-water bottle on the teapot can be a wonderful gift to friends and relatives on various holidays. It is enough to connect the imagination, and from your hands will come a unique kit for home use in the form of an exotic peacock or a fluffy cat, a cheerful cow or a bright ladybug. Let's look at the manufacturing process in stages.

Hot water on the teapot with your hands in the shape of ladybug

We need flaps of red, black and colored fabric, sintepon, black oblique bake and thread of a suitable tone. First we measure the teapot. We are interested in only two quantities: height and girth, taking into account the handle and spout. For example, take the following parameters:

• The height of the kettle is 13 centimeters plus 6 centimeters, we get 19.
• Circumference 34 centimeters, we will divide in half - 17 centimeters plus 5 centimeters, we receive 22.

On a sheet of thick paper, draw a rectangle 19x22 centimeters and round off the top two corners. This will be our procurement. Cut out the second paper of the same detail and draw on it the head and specks of the ladybug. From sintepona, colored and red fabric we cut out on two basic details. We combine them with a kind of sandwich, in the middle of which we have a sintepon. We chisel the parts with needles, protecting them from displacement, and quilting straight lines with an interval of three centimeters.

Now you should give the face of the ladybug. To do this, we cut out the head and small circles from the black fabric. We put one basic part with the red side up. We put on it a black blank of a head, circles and we pin. Pitch details with a zigzag line along the edge.

After that, we take two basic parts and add them so that the colored fabric is inside. We need to pin with needles and make a line along the rounded edge, retreating 0.5 centimeters from it. We remove the needles. Now you need to hide all the seams. For this, we process the edges with the help of a skew-beam. Up above, make two loops, depicting the mustache of the ladybug. The hot water bottle on the kettle turned out very bright and beautiful.

To compose a set sew a few stickers in the form of small ladybirds. To do this, make a pattern of the oval shape, using the rectangle 14x17 centimeters as the basis. The principle of production is the same. We cut out one piece of sintepon, red and colored fabric. We make head and circle blanks using black material. We impose decorative details on the red part and impose zigzag. We put three basic parts, we pin with needles and we lay a line at a distance of 0.5 centimeter from the edge. We process the open cut with a black oblique bake, making a loop in the center of the head.

No less attractive is a knitted hot-water bottle on the kettle. Hook or knitting it will be done, not so important. Using only two colors of thread (red and green), you can make an excellent hot water bottle in the form of a large strawberry with green leaves. You can use the same pattern on which we sewed the previous product, adding knitted details with lining and sintepon.

If the thread of the desired color is not so much, then measure the circumference of the pot of the teapot and tie the base of the berry, leaving the slits for the handle and spout. From the green threads make the delicate leaves and attach them to the top of the strawberry. Black threads embroider a small tick, simulating bones. Such a hot-water bottle on the teapot will not leave anyone indifferent.
