Homemade cookies in vegetable oil: two recipes

If you've ever tried to stick to the right diet or are practicing it at the moment, then you've probably had to face one problem. And it's called a craving for sweets, especially for baking. Indeed, this category of our nutrition can not be called useful. For the preparation of buns, cakes, cookies, a lot of sugar and butter are usually used. Having eaten a couple of crackers or a freshly baked croissant with chocolate, you most likely will not feel saturated, and you will get plenty of calories.

However, completely denying yourself the pleasure of having a cup of tea with a snack with something sweet is also harmful. At least for our moral health. The golden mean is to replace the most harmful (caloric) ingredients with more correct ones. Today we will tell you how to bake a useful homemade cookie with vegetable oil. The latter not only does not contradict the principles of healthy nutrition, but is also an integral part of it.

The recipe will be two. For Sunday breakfast instead of cereal we suggest you bake oatmeal cookies in vegetable oil with nuts and dried fruits, and for evening tea - sand, with bits of bitter chocolate and berries. Let's start with the first one.

Useful oats dessert

One of the obvious advantages of this recipe is its availability. Most likely, you do not even have to go to the store, as you will most certainly find all the necessary products in your kitchen. To prepare the dough, we need:

  • Oat flakes - 300-350 grams;
  • Wheat flour - 2 large spoons;
  • Eggs - 2 pieces;
  • Vegetable oil - 100 ml;
  • Sugar - 1 glass (can be replaced with 3-4 tablespoons of honey);
  • Soda - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • Lemon - a quarter teaspoon.

If you keep a post or are a supporter of vegan food, then you can slightly adjust the proposed list of components. So, eggs are easily replaced by two ripe bananas - they will serve as a "fastener" in the test. Instead of wheat flour, take the same amount of crushed (!) Oat or buckwheat flakes, add honey, and not sugar, for sweetness - and your cookies will be a true standard of regular lean baking.

Preparation of the dough

It is necessary to try very hard to spoil the oatmeal cookies in vegetable oil. The recipe is so simple that even a child can cook it. We need two bowls. In one we mix oat flakes with vegetable oil and leave this mass to infuse for an hour. We divide the eggs into yolks and squirrels. The first add to our oat mixture with sugar, soda and citric acid. Whisk the whites in a separate bowl in a thick foam.

It remains to work for small. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and grease with vegetable oil. Spread the cookie with a spoon and send it to the oven (200 degrees) for 20-30 minutes. Done!   • Vegetable oil - 150 ml;
  • Water is ice (this is very important!) - 150 ml;
  • Flour - about 2.5 cups;
  • Salt - half a teaspoon;
  • Brown sugar - to taste.

This recipe is no less economical than the previous one. And even more simple in execution. First we prepare the emulsion - we mix ice water with salt and vegetable oil in a bowl. Vigorously stir before formation of foam. We sift the flour beforehand and combine it with sugar. Now pour the liquid mass into the dry one. Knead the dough, it should be easy to get away from the hands. Done.

To shortbread cookies in vegetable oil was not too simple and boring, we add bright tastes to it. We offer a variant with bitter chocolate (a good tile with a high content of cocoa beans usually does not contain any animal additives) and blueberries.
