Group "Orange": features of Estonian country

When there are new collectives, it is always interesting to observe their creative development. After all, the world of show business often turns out to be cruel, and musical directions require constant innovations. The group "Orange", which has a rich history, will tell by its example, in what ways to achieve recognition of fans.

Find your style

This team can not be called young. It was formed in Estonia in the mid-70s of the last century. The main feature that his admirers will note is the fact that "Orange" is functioning to this day. With the use of the sound of unconventional musical instruments, the team harmoniously combines blues, jazz, rock'n'roll.

The first composition, like the debut performance on Estonian television, the band "Orange" stylized to humorous country. The musicians themselves admitted later that they regretted the chosen genre, believing that this would end their career without beginning. However, to a great surprise, the audience and listeners were delighted. This was the only factor that gave the team for many years the incentive to create something original.

Laughing at others, laugh at yourself

The first disc was released in 1976. Then the group "Orange" (photo attached) leaves for a jazz festival in Tbilisi and a tour to Germany. Having received the first recognition, the group receives an invitation to the "Blue Light" and "Saturday Night".

Almost at once the collective found its unique style - parody "Western". But its participants were not going to entertain the audience. I wanted more serious things. In the early years of the 80's, "Orange" wrote several songs in a new vein. At the same time, leaving humor and self-irony among the main components. At the concerts, the participants make a splash - the audience notes their acting qualities, manifested in a variety of emotions.

Creative personalities

The group "Orange" writes its texts in Estonian, differing atypical manner of performance. This for a long time became her business card. The existing language barrier did not play a role - in our country the discs of the collective were bought up in large editions.

The number of participants includes those who stayed in the group for more than a decade. During the creative activity the collective left soloists, in their place came others. Each participant has a niche. So, Tõnu Aare is mainly engaged in vocals. Jaan Arder prefers acoustic guitar and mandolin. His brother-poet Ott Arder - he put his hand to writing several successful hits of the group. The rest of the participants - Allan Jacobi, Ants Nuut, Alexander Viliper - play drums, trumpet, accordion and trombone.

By the way, the band's frontman personally came up with the band's name. According to him, oranges are the fruit that will always remind you of childhood and the New Year. Beautiful and "funny", they are able to favorably affect others.

Today and tomorrow

The collective performs a lot on television. Throughout the 80's in the popular program "Around the laughter" is often invited to the group "Orange". Discography replenished with several albums, one of the most successful, "Apelsin XX", appears on the shelves in 1994. The disintegration of the country is reflected in the work of the group. For a while, little is heard of it, and it seems that the "Orange" has disintegrated. However, the collective simply stopped for the time being its existence. In the late 90's, he again reminded of himself. Participants often go on tour, take part in various concerts of the Baltic States. Celebrating its anniversary, in 2004 the band released the album "Apelsin 30".

Today, the group "Orange" - all the same arrogant, albeit aged guys, who with their light enough songs can cheer up every listener.
